I got this thing a week ago, and I love it! Check out my video review of him by the way on YouTube (I go by Sportimus). On the back of his box he has his stats, and he scores high on all of them (9's 10's, and an , but on one, he gets a mere 4. I can't read Japanese (but wish I could), so I was hoping some one here can tell me what he sored low on? And the rest too if possible. Thanks.

Good deal! Nice vids! I have been tossing around getting him, mainly closer to the "no" side, because I am just not a fan of the "Nerf gun mode"...but Takara took the obnoxious colors off and it actually looks "respectable"! Thanks for the gentle, yet effective, push back to the "weelllll....maybe" side! I do enjoy the articulation factor as well, which I was unsure about. I had never seen a pic of that figure outside the package...Yet another nudge!

To eBay I go!!

I like this version much better! Might have to pick one up eventually! Very cool!

Glad you enjoyed it. I hope you like Henkei Megatron as much as I do. I just did NOT like the colors of the Hasbro version, no matter how much I tried to convince myself otherwise. Some people do like Hasbro's Megatron, though, and that's cool. Me, no. When I saw the Takara one, I said "Now that's Megatron!" Even though he still has his silly wings and turns into a nerf style gun, he doesn't have the orange tips, and the silver, black, red and chrome more than make up for it. His legs look kind of goofy when you have them straight, but no big deal for me. Hope you find one at a good price. Big Bad Toy Store also still carries him.

eBay? He's probably still available in some shops for a decent price. I know Ages Three and Up hasn't actually received their stock yet, so even if their preorder's sold out they should probably be adding some actual stock sometime very soon.

*groan* I wish I could say I got my Megatron and Starscream. I paid the seller three weeks ago and I still haven't received anything, nor have I had any response to my requests for the tracking number. He had a 100% positive feedback, so I thought nothing could go wrong. I've since negged him and filed a PayPal dispute.

Japanese stats are listed in the same order as the old US stats on the tech specs.

I'm glad your enjoying your Henkei Megs. I'll be getting my own Megs this week and I'm happy that other fans are enjoying theirs.

The colors looks good on Megatron. I hope to be able to see the actual toy.

megs was really the only classics out of the line that felt out of place, but i got this henkei megs and he looks perfect in the line. at this point, he's the only one i've replaced

I picked up a Henkai Megatron today... I think it's great

I, like others, intentionally didn't get the Hasbro version because of the colour scheme.

The Henkai version still looks like a Nerf gun, but in black and silver, he at least looks like an evil Nerf gun.

Unless it was being shipped domestically, 3 weeks isn't unusual, I've sometimes waited a month between payment and receipt of the item. When it comes to shipping you get what you pay for, regular old post is pretty slow. The non-response is pretty bad though.

Yeah once in awhile I see a good deal, but if it's very recent items I find the prices are usually pretty jacked up.

I like Henkei Megs, but they all seem to have a few better qualities than their HASBRO brothers, albeit they are very similar to the original G1 detailing than the HASBRO do.

-Mirage darker blue with chrome detailing, and chromed gun. Next to the other, I think he looks much better!

Still the HASBRO one's are good too, but Megs is certainly an improvement colorwise!
