Prowl looks really good. I've never been a big fan of "beast-formers", but Wasp looks pretty good to. It will be interesting to see where he picks up the organic alt mode next season.

I love 'em both. Waspinator will be a great companion figure for Blackarachnia.

Nice find.
Cool pictures, to be sure.

That said, is anyone else becoming less and less thrilled about Samurai Prowl?
I already bought the original Animated Prowl, and I was psyched for Samurai Prowl.
But the more I see of SP, the less I find to like about him or to distinguish him from Vanilla Prowl, y'know?

As for Waspinator...
I might have wanted to get him if I'd (1) watched Beast Wars or (2) bought Blackarachnia.
Looks kind of cool, but not in a standalone sort of way, if that makes sense.

I think I would have like a "Wasp" toy much more than a "Waspinator" toy. I just don't like the bot mode at all. And I watched and enjoyed Beast Wars, I just don't like this figure.

I have the origianl as well, but I'm still looking forward to this version. The sidecar/armor alone would be worth the price of a deluxe to me.

Samurai prowl looks clunky as opposed to the sleek original Prowl. Might buy him for the sake of keeping my collection up to date. Waspinator is the Decepticon incarnate of the Elite Guard Academy Wasp, right? I'm getting him too.

I was originally not into Prowl too much, since I like buying/displaying just one of each character - hence no activators or deluxe prime, cybertron megs, voyager bulkhead, or battle begins for me, even though some of them are nice figures.

But he's so unique that I'm changing my mind. Yeah it looks like he loses a heap of his articulation, and I doubt they've fixed the lack of heel spurs - since it would be difficult to put them into that mold, but damn he looks like he'd display well.

Waspinator I will definitely get, and I'm keen on seeing his story on how he becomes organicified... I'm guessing it will involve Blackarachnia and Meltdown... but I would still love to see Wasp too, as a Cybertronian Bumblebee mold with his unique head.

*EDIT* BTW, can we get this front-paged?
