So so true. Before talking to CP, I hated/didn't care for minicons. Now I have been hunting certain sets and have started a small minicon army. Even spent more then I should on a few. All because of CP.

Oddly enough, I'm almost entirely immune to the effect myself.

Several people have tried to hook me on WST, Animated, Legends, & Beast Wars to no avail. There was something else too that as a collector I am just dismissive of. I can't remember right now though...

ah, wait, yes, Binaltech. I went the Alternator route and was quite happy with it.

Well, at any rate, it's not me being uninterested in some of the lines of things other people enjoy, but more the fact that I am really dedicated to the idea of what my collection should look like. Even if this means missing out on some otherwise cool stuff.

If I sold my collection right now, I could afford a down payment on a house. I had no idea my Unicron trilogy stuff would go up in value the way it did. Sure that's only a small part of my collection, but it appreciated quite a bit.

I agree with CP totally. There's no need to have every single figure ever released, you just have to go with what you like, be that having 15 figures or 1,500. Of course, that doesn't keep Counterpunch from trying to get me to buy minicons, but oh well.

As long as I run every time we are at the same Botcon dealer tables, I might have a fighting chance!

lets hope we never have to sell!
