I want your opinion about brawl

Postby iheartarcee » Sat Sep 08, 2007 1:14 am

In my attempt to buy all the cast in the movie I did buy deluxe brawl. Upon opening it I thought it was an ok toy but definitely not my favorite. I transformed him a bunch and lucky me, I get one with f'ed up shoulder pegs. So hes been sitting on my shelf in tank mode being boring because I hhhhate how his shoulders are.

So heres my question... Should I put him in robot mode, glue his shoulders in, and just have him be in robot mode forever? And if so, what kind of glue should I use? I love gorilla glue for fixing things and think that would keep his shoulders in the best. Your opinion?

i enjoy him him in alt mode and that how hes being displayed.... and as for your shoulder problem, there was thread last month around here on how to fix that problem.... which requires something about shaving down the pegs? im not sure on exactly how to do it. but hopefully the guy that knows how to do it will dop some knowledge here for ya. dont worry though, the shoulder problem is fixable, dont glue him down forever.

You could make a really cool looking C-clamp and paint it camo ... :)

In all seriousness though. A transformer that can't transform is like a nipple without sensitivity.

If you're just planning on displaying him, the shoulder problem shouldn't interfere with that. If somebody is over your place checking out your stuff from 3 to 5 feet away ... they probably won't notice. (unless they know of it themselves.)

His shoulders did bother me at first, but going back to him now after 2 months. It's really not all that bad. He's a cool figure!

A glued up non-transforming transformer would bother me more than a 2MM gap between shoulder/arm. Those little clips really help the situation. It's not perfect, but for display purposes, it works. At least I think so, and Borat would probably even say ... "Verah Nice!"

Just leave him the way he is every toy has it's specialties and unfortunately, some of it is... not so special :o
