Poor Kup, he really has gone mad. :-( I hope he can be rescued and repaired, it would be a shame if this was his only appearance in the series.

Well this will be an interesting read to say the least. The old guy has gone bat-sh*t crazy.

Maybe he's been there so long he's "gone feral" and just attacks anyone he sees as an outsider & threat? Maybe there isn't much energon on the planet so he killed the stranger to ensure there was enough for himself? Who knows?

Maybe he doesn't really do it.

You mean the whole thing may be a halucination? A dream? Or that he's posessed?

Quite. Or a simulation. You're on my wavelength.

I wouldn't mind that being true, that way he can take part in the main story at some point without being insane.

Now you've said that there's nothing I want more than to see an insane, miserly, weathered old Autobot join Prowl's team on Earth...

I was thinking more along the lines of Kup having to recover from the incident first, but maybe he could just have some medication to control the flashbacks. Just don't get in his way when he forgets to take it.

Well, I just finished it.

My, but that was thoroughly messed up. And is there ever a time when Prowl isn't being a complete ass? O_o

He's not being an ass. He's putting the many before the few. That's a command decision. Usually, it's a good command decision.

Don't have the issue, and have no intention of getting it, but based of the previews and that comment about Prowl, I'm gonna guess Prowl was in command of a ship. Something happened to damage the section of the ship (possibly battle) and the reactor started to overload. Prowl had to jettison that compartment to save the lives of his crew, but Kup and Outback were inside the compartment when it was jettisoned. They crashed on the planet, where Kup has been running around going crazy for the past few years. No one returned for them because they thought he was dead.

That, or Prowl gave Kup the tea that was past it's sell by date, and it percolated into his brain, causing him to run around crazy.

Am I right? :???:

Well, he came off as an ass while doing it. As said, Kup even helped train him. And before you praise him for "keeping it under the radar", as stated, had Prime known about the situation, he wouldn't have hesitated to go in for him.

I get why Prime keeps Prowl around. He's great at what he does. But I'm amazed we've never seen Prime chew him out. One of these days it'll happen.
