If Transformers Prime Realeased a new mold leader/supreme sized toy of Unicron. would you buy it?

YES,Times infinity.

I basically want the unicron robot mode to transform into a planet mode.

I'm just hoping Takara/Hasbro manages to capture all the detail & colors of the TF Prime cartoon unicron & it translates into Toy form.

I don't want to see any annoying over the top lights & gimmicks. either light up eyes or chest should be fine. hopefully they don't go over board & ruin this like they did Beastmachines supreme sized cheetor. which had annoying gimmicks in almost every square inch of the toy. which ruined some poseability,restricted joints & looked horrible in some areas of the toy.

I'm not expecting Hasbro nor Takara to top the super poseability & design sculpt of the AECU Unicron toy from years ago. But I would be beyond impressed if they did.

I'd love for Takara to dig out that old 1998 Beastwars NEO Unicron Proto type mold & use that as a NEW TF Prime Unicron toy. That would just be leaps & bounds awesome.

Didn't HasTak just re-release one? But that is a plausible scenario, though I'd doubt it will come with ..."a new body, and new troops to command......" More or less it would be a new recolor of the new head together with the old Armada body.

I doubt they will release one like this. I don't know if I'd buy it, possibly.

TF Prime is gonna be a full blown TF toy line. were not just getting 8 to 10 new molds & that's it. Most TF full blown toy lines supported my a media cartoon get TF toys in all the size levels like legends,basics/scouts,deluxes,voyagers,leaders & supreme's.

I'd say the chances of Hasbro/Takara doing a new mold unicron toy for the TF Prime toy line is migh higher than "Dogma" & Fenrir72" thinks it is.

It doesn't matter that hasbro & Takara keep releasing the armada unicron mold year after year in new colors & under different TF toy lines. this is just a recolor/remold. IT WON'T AFFECT US "NOT" GETTING A NEW MOLD Unicron toy for the TF prime toy line.

The sheer fact we keep getting the armada unicron toy repainted & re-released almost every year. should be a major hint,the unicron character is popular enough that it sells decent year after year. and it's popular enough with the fans/buyers to WARRANT ANOTHER 100% NEW MOLD Unicron toy for the TF prime toy line.

Anyways Unicron is a major character in the TF Prime cartoon series story line/plots/arcs. in fact the whole TF Prime cartoon revolves around unicron. So I'd say a TF Prime Unicron toy will get made in either the leader size or supreme size.

Hasbro/Takara is all about making cartoons to advertise their toys,so they sell in stores. Hasbro isn't about to waste all that Unicron TF Prime CGI & then release no TF Prime Unicron toy.

Expect to see a Unicron 100% new mold for the TF Prime toy line at the hasbro's 2012 toyfair in manhattan this february.

That is a really nice mold, but it's actually not that big. It was certainly smaller than the armada one, but bigger than big convoy. Though, the way it's done was nice.

I'm not sure if I would get another unicron. I have the one, he looks like unicron, it's pretty good. I'd have to see the toy before I judge. Though, I like what I've got pretty well.

Uhh deathy , any inside info to back up your statement of a Supreme sized new Unicron mold? Sounds more like wishful thinking on your part. A whole lot of R&D went into Unicron's design (2000 iirc)and bottom line is, I'd milk the mold for all its worth (just like MP Prime). A more realistic expectation either a repaint or a new head(the latter too might also be unrealistic with it just recently released)

Edit: And bad guys don't sell as good as the good guys.

They should just slap an autobot lable on unicron then.

TFP Unicron? No. A thousand times no. The design in the show is downright ugly. I'm not even sure it could be made to transform.

no simply because ive already got a great universe unicron and need no other version. that why i passed on the 2010 and recent release of him. id rather they put some thought into a decent combiner or 2 with functional limbs (hands and feet)

absolutely not. i would however spring for a deluxe/voyager Rock Lord Unicron!

No,thanks,to the deluxe TF Prime Unicron toy. We already got one for the year 2005 cybertron toy line & it was awful--In my opinion.

I dislike the tiny TF toys. I prefer the voyagers,ultra's,leaders & supreme's sized TF toys.

I am all about size scale. in how the cartoon scale translates into a toy scale. TF Prime unicron in the cartoon is shown way bigger than other Transformers in the TF Prime cartoon series. theirfore in order to translate properly in toy form,TF Prime's unicron toy needs to be Supreme sized or at the very least I'd settle for leader sized.

Unicron isn't a small transformers,he always needs a bigger toy like leader sized or supreme sized to be in proper toy size scale.

in response to your concern with scale, an avatar of Unicron could be any size. he was shown as the same size as Prime (give or take) and at an enormous size as well. as far as the Armada Unicron mold that we have which the cartoon design was copied verbatim, i find it less likely that a huge scale figure would be made given the complexity of the design.

basically im saying the Prime Unicron design is so complex that it would be compromised quite a bit aesthetically or not be produced at all. a voyager size seems more probable due to complexity, and the in fiction appearances of the avatars appearing in fiction in a smaller size.

No. He is out of scale with everything except himself. Yeah, I could put him up w/ just himself but I'm good w/out one.

Give me a good sized head mold only, like in the 80's movie and a few (4-6) small characters to display w/ him and I'd be happy.

Good heaven's Yes! Though I have always taken issue with the size/scale with my transformers, this would undoubtedly have to be in my collection.
