The Insecticons from Transformers: Prime

The story: the G1 Insecticons come across a seemingly abandoned stockpile of Energon. They think the Energon is theirs for the taking, but suddenly, two Mack Truck-sized mechanical Hercules Beetles swoop in and transform into massive robots, ready to defend the stash with their lives.

Here are the G1 Insecticons in battle. Though they're a bit small compared to the average Transformer, they're pretty powerful and resourceful in battle.

Here is an Insecticon in Transformers: Prime fighting Megatron. Keep in mind that Megatron in TF: Prime is bigger and probably more vicious in combat than G1's Megatron.

I'll have to give it to G1. Even though individually the TFP Instecticons are bigger and stronger, the original 3 have been a team for a long time, and they're smarter and more resourceful. They'll never let it be 1-on-1 and they will win.

The G1 insecticons has one massive advantage over TF:Prime bulldozers, the G1 Insecticons had "cloning rays" (I don't remember the exact term) and this fight could become 15 on 2 very quickly.

G1. bombsell could get one of his mind controll shells in one of them then make it fight the other. then the three take out whichever is left.

G1. Bombshells cerebro shells, combined with their cloning skills and Kickback's Tommy Gun.
They'd have TF Prime Insecticon scrubbing the floors of their den in 2 minutes
