this toy was hard to find in stores.
yes I think $59.99 is a decent price for a 2003 toy. the toy is 8 years old now & cost $19.99 when it first came out. paying tripple 8 years later is a steal of a deal. considering it was so hard to find in stores & got taken out of later waves. thus it was made in lower volume units.
the toys are really popular among the fandom. despite the fact both toys are heavily flawed.
the combined form is cool.
Ya actually found it at retail 2 times back in 03, but was never able to get it.![]()
My bday is tomarrow but got my gifts today, and got $135 in cash so im looking to buy some tfs. Im also looking at the ultimate prime but im only get on more expensive tf.
So the Mega dinobot or the ultimate dotm prime.
swoop is a great design.
grimlock sort of looks too cute in beast mode which is a bad thing due to his over-all 27 years worth of persona. I kinda view the beast mode as looking a bit similar to the 1989 classics pretender inner robot/beast toy.

Please check out some u-tube videos before you think about buying the DOTM Ultimate optimus prime.
Because the ultimate optimus Prime toy isn't that poseable in the super robot+trailer armor combined mode. the super mode robot legs don't have that much poseability.
