Is the next Series (Transformers Heroes) the War Within?

Postby GetterDragun » Thu Mar 01, 2007 8:34 pm

Ok, I put this in toy forum because it's related to figures I got today from Hasbro's toy shop. We all know the next Transformers series after the movie is Transformers:Heroes. Well, I got the latest Titaniums today and all the War Withins were listed as Heroes. They were listed as Transformers Titaniun Heores The Fallen and Transformers Titaniun Heores Starscream, but the Heroes moniker was only used for the War Within figures.

:-?

That is interesting. It would be cool if that was the case.

Weapon: Double-Barreled, Armor-Piercing Particle Beam Cann...
It'd be great to see Leader Class versions of Prime and Megatron's WWI forms. They could change Prime's trailer to act like fire truck.

EDIT: Since when did spelling "fire truck" as one word count as a swear? :???:

Man, now THAT would be just about the crowning peak of giving the fans what they'd like to see. Those comics had some seriously sweet altmodes. Hello, Voyager-class Dynobots! Hello, Supreme-class Triptychon! Wouldn't THAT go so well up against Energon Omega Supreme?

You're forgetting that the Heroes of Cybertron, and the coming Heroes PVC line were both pure G1 characters. Not War Within ones.

Besides, it is already known that Transformers: Heroes (which I believe is a working title last we heard about it) is set in the future in space and on Earth, not in Cybertron's past.

As far as I knew, all the 6-inch Titaniums were called Cybertron Heroes, while the 3-inch ones were Robot Masters. Still, if they used WW designs for the new show, even if they didn't follow the story, that'd be totally awesome. Unfortunately judging by what we've seen, the designs are going down a different, decidedly crappier path.
