You are in second of command of the Decepticons. You live for the day to be the leader. You hate who's in charge and waits for the moment to "accidentally" slip a jagged edge of steel in his chest. Unfortunately, the other Decepticons question your leader abilities. You are strong and confident in yourself, but you are a coward when it comes to being out numbered or intimidated.

PLEASE don't capitalize every word....

And, Auto Bot had a thread where he had made it look like that they were leader class, but they were just fakes.

And, I doubt we will get new leader class guys.

actually when the movie line up was in progression, there were plans and I'm sure prototypes of the larger sizes of those, but I think Hasbro had decided against it for one reason or another.. I still have an e-mail from my Hasbro connection where he said they were working on them...

but I know he never said if they were ever to be released..

I think after the fiasco of Ultimate Bumblebee and how disappointing those sales will be even after X-mas, those moulds may never see daylight.. it'd be nice to get someone to sneak some shots of those prototypes though just to see how cool they would have been.. :(

Nah, it was just a fun thread that Auto Bot created. He/She made it look like they existed, but anyone that wasn't a newb at the time ... knew he was only kidding.

I can see how some mistook them for real figs, but no ... he was just having fun with the idea.

As for that news info, I never saw that ... I guess that's where AB got the idea for the thread?

Thankfully no, and there will more than likely never ever exist.

AutoBot made those pictures to please alot of newer members (and old ones too) wanted bigger toys of Bonecrusher and Starscream (as well as Blackout) because they "weren't to scale". Since they were new, they weren't to know that Hasbro doesn't give a damn about Scale.

I said that in another thread. If Starscream's a major player in the sequel I think it's a strong possibility.

Either that or we'll get Allspark Power Nightwatch Powermaster Galaxy Force EDC Prime. Turbo GTS. He's different because he goes to 11.

I wished. Instead of repainting Leader Prime and Leader Brawl, they should of made Leader Starscream, giving him hands, like in the movie. Also, Leader Blackout or Leader Bonecrusher would rock. If they didn't want to do a Leader Bonecrusher than at least, make it a Voyager, instead, of that blue Ironhide. I'm sure Hasbro has the money to do it, instead of repaints, seeing how the movie toys are selling.

I can understand, why Hasbro would make deluxes out of the other Decepticons. I mean, really, in the movie, almost all of the Cons would have to be Leader Class. And, well, the kids would want the Transforemrs that were in the movie. So, if they made most of the Cons, in Leader Class, it would be hard for kids to get the toys.

On the other hand, now that the movie line, is going to make way for the animanted line, Hasbro, should make the older fans happy, and relese, bigger molds for the other Cons, Starscream, Blackout, and Bonecrusher.

About scale. Well, I know that Hasbro may not care, but IMO if they are going to have Transformers with alt. modes be real-world vehicles, then they should be in scale. If, Transformers have future alt. modes or Cybertron alt. modes, that is different. But, if they are going with real-world vehicles, then Hasbro, should make sure they are in scale.

I know the Alternators line was in scale with each other. I'm sure that was because, it was base on real-world vehicles. That, and it seems to aim at the older TransFans.

The Autobots are find. It is mostly the Decepticons that need, to be bigger.

Starscream - Leader Class
Bonecrusher - Voyager/Leader Class
Blackout - Leader/Supreme Class

The rest of the Cons are OK. But, those three should be made, at least, in those Classes.

I know Hasbro, made Brawl in Dexlue Class, and later Leader Class. So, they can hopefully, relese bigger molds of some of the others that, would be better.

Just, IMO.

Wow you managed to quote all them senseless repaint names Hasbro uses!
I wonder what that would look like :-?

The Blue Ironhide is a minimal cost risk..releasing a voyager Bonecrusher in packaging is a risk considering that Hasbro isn't sure of the impact or selling quality it will have ont he market.. although i don't understand why not?? I mean he was a frickin main character in the movie... ofcourse the lesser known guys have sold well, and repainting voyagers and deluxes aren't as big a gamble as releasing a new mould..I'm confused by why we haven't seen the leader Starwscream and voyager Bonecrusher.. it doesn't make much sense..

That's a perfect reason as to why we won't see anymore larger sized movie toys.. unfortunately.. And also the crummy sales expectedfrom that horrible joke in plastic..Ultimate Bumblebee..Hasbro's Gimmick riddled flop..had they stuck to Transformation as the gimmick.. with automorph..I suppose they could have went the Leader class route with more characters.. I just can't help but feel that we are stuck in this situation because of the decisison to do Ultimate Bumblebee..

If you had taken the deluxe 08 design and made it a Voyager sized class and squeezed in some more articulation.. and an accurate paint application.. then you could have called that Ultimate Bumblebee.. instead of that monster radioshack P.O.S.!!

yeah, that would be nice.. only the perception at Hasbro is, that there aren't enough of us to support a full fledged line of new Leader class being done.. the repaints are easy, adn they know we'll buy them.. plus they are limited in number..which I suppose is for Us fans..but tell that to those who missed out on the Best Buy Exclusives..

sorry guys, but I got mine...

the Alternators were in scale because they were all cars!! the Jets and Helicoptor would be a ginormous transformer toy too big to want to produce.. everything is about costs to major companies these days.. big badass toys just don't seem to be in them anymore..

Now that size class could work... ;)^ unfortunately I don't think it will ever happen.. atleast not until TF2.. I know Starscream will get a Leader class toy in the next film's release.. and maybe we'll get a bigger and better Prime mould too!! Here's hoping..

they should at least scale down with the actual size from the movie
so i would say Bonecrusher, starscream, blackout should be bigger than voyager class

well Starscream and Blackout are pretty to scale.
so are deluxe Brawl and Bonecrusher.
but they made Leader brawl so I feel like they should make a Leader Bonecrusher too.
Leader Starcscream will probably be made when TF2 comes out.
but I really want a Leader Blackout. even as a voyager he is WAY to small.

Uh, nope. :)

It was all borne out of my own disappointment with the small Bonecrusher and Brawl. And later on, realising that Starscream is also too small.

That got the dirty wheels in my head turning. :)

The thing about the Blue Ironhide is, what is the point? I mean, if they have his G1 colors, like they did for Prime, Ratchet, and Jazz, the fans will buy it. Mostly, because, it is base on G1. And, as for the kids. I'm sure most of them, if they want a figure don't care that much about the color.

So, if they have G1 Colors Ironhide, then, not only will older fans buy it, but if kids want a Ironhide, and don't care about the color, just get that. I don't see the point in that, he wasn't like that in the movie, or other times, like G1.

The Blue Ironhide may be a minimal cost risk, but a G1 Colors Ironhide, would be a even more minimal cost risk, because, the older fans may buy it because, it is in G1 colors, and most kids won't care about the colors. So, Hasbro will get the older fans and the collectors, and also the kids to.

I'm sure Hasbro has the money to make a bigger Starscream, Bonecrusher, and Blackout. The thing is, they don't need to start form scratch. All they need to do, is to take the molds, that they already have, and just make them bigger. That's all. Except for Starscream, in which, they should give him hands, if he is going to be Leader Class. That's all, their is to it.

skywarp-2 wrote:That's a perfect reason as to why we won't see anymore larger sized movie toys.. unfortunately.. Maybe. I don't get the point in Ultimate Bumblebee. Anyway, I think they do need, some smaller figures of the big guys. Like have Prime as Leader Class, and also Voyager, and maybe Deluxe.

Some, parents really, don't want to spend that money on a toy, they may need other stuff, after all, gas prices are going way up. So, I don't mind if they make Deluxes, of charachers who should be Leader Class. But, they should make the Leader Class version, for the other fans, who may want them.

skywarp-2 wrote:If you had taken the deluxe 08 design and made it a Voyager sized class and squeezed in some more articulation.. and an accurate paint application.. then you could have called that Ultimate Bumblebee.. instead of that monster radioshack P.O.S.!!

Like I said, I don't see the point in Ultimate Bumblebee. They could of, made it like you said, Voyager Class, or maybe Leader Class. But, instead, of Ultimate Bumblebee, I rather they would of made, Leader Starscream, Bonecrusher, or Blackout, instead.

sorry guys, but I got mine...

Wait. The Best Buy Exclusives are only for a limited time? I was hopeing to pick up that Voyager Megatron. And, I think more are coming, such as Prime and Thundercracker. Are they really for a limited time? If so, I may of missed them! Oh well, they may come out with a Leader Class version. Thats Hasbro for you.

'Hey, look we made Megatron, this time how he was in the movie! Oh, he is a Voyager BTW, and he still has the ice! But, we still repainted him to be more like the Movie!'

Months later.

'Hey. I know you got the new Voyager Megatron. But, we will now relese it in Leader Class! That is right! I know you all just got the Voyager Class, and wanted a Leader Class one, so we made one after you all got the Voyager Class!'

Alright, Hasbro just relese it in Leader Class will you? They should of just made the Megatron Best Buy Exclusive version, the first Voyager, and a Leader Class version of it to. It is what everyone wanted in the first place. Instead, of repainting and releseing them, again.

skywarp-2 wrote:the Alternators were in scale because they were all cars!! the Jets and Helicoptor would be a ginormous transformer toy too big to want to produce.. everything is about costs to major companies these days.. big badass toys just don't seem to be in them anymore..

I was hopping for a Alternators 2.0, with more Cars, but also, things like Tanks, Jets, Helicoptors, Boats, etc. But, Hasbro wouldn't do it. Like you said, they'll have to be huge to be in scale with the Cars. To bad, that won't happen.

But, I still think that if Hasbro is going to make the Transformers have Alt. modes base on real-world vehicles, they should all be in scale. And have some of the bigger toys, have smaller out of scale molds, so the kids can get them, and the bigger ones for older fans, collectors, and also the kids can also, get it. It would be nice.

skywarp-2 wrote:Now that size class could work... ;)^ unfortunately I don't think it will ever happen.. atleast not until TF2.. I know Starscream will get a Leader class toy in the next film's release.. and maybe we'll get a bigger and better Prime mould too!! Here's hoping..

Thanks. That would be good. And they can still have the Deluxe and Voyager Class of those figures, so that it would be easier for some kids and also others to get them.

I do think, that we may see a Leader Class Starscream for TF2. I wouldn't, be surprise if we see one.

The Allspark line has a repaint of Delxue Class Bonecrusher, so I doubt that we will see at least a Voyager Class of him.

Also, in the Allspark line, their repainting Blackout into Evce, so I doubt we will see a Leader Class or Supreme Class of him.

All in all, just three molds could use a 'upgrade', of sorts, Starscream, Boncrusher, and Blackout. Starscream, may have a Leader Class but, we may have to wait for TF2. And as for Bonecrusher and Blackout. I doubt, that we are going to see a bigger verison of them, unless their in TF2. So, who knows?

Just, IMO.

I agree that Blue Ironhide didn't make sense. You keep away a sizable portion of potential buyers by not making him red instead.

With regards to increasing the size of some Deluxe and Voyager toys to become Leader class toys, it's not as simple as that. With the bigger size you have to incorporate more features and details into it. Like what happened to Deluxe Brawl growing up into Leader Brawl.

Yeah, bigger figures means, they have to add in more details. And the features, like sounds and stuff.

Anyway, I still think they should make Leader Class verisons of Starscream, Bonecrusher, and Blackout. Well, Starscream may get a Leader Class version for TF2. But, I dunno about Bonecrusher or Blackout.

Maybe, if to hype TF2, they rerelese some of the first movie figures. But, with only the Autobots and Decepitcons in the movie, and we get a Leader Class verison of Bonecrusher and Blackout, there.

One can, hope.

The highlighted statement (above) is what i have been wishing for since i first saw the 4 (including Deluxe Brawl) in Amazon and ebay.

Now that you've said it, it makes a lot of sense to come up with a Leader SS when TF2 is ready.

Now i'm up again with high hopes. 8)

Uh not that I've heard of. Maybe you were mistaken for the Movie Legends.

Took me a while to dig them up from the forum attic.

Thank You :APPLAUSE:. Any Way I Think They Should Change The Class Of Most Of The Decepticons. The Autobots Are Fine.:

Frenzy:Legend, Kind Of Like The FAB Verson But Smaller And Pull The Body Out More. And No Disc Launch In The Chest But In The Arms And With Blue Eyes.

Barricade:Deluxe, The Same One But With Frenzy Glued Inside The Grill.

Bonecrusher:Leader, Bigger Verson Of Deluxe.

Brawl:Leader, Repaint To Mach The Deluxe One.

Starscream:Leader, With Transformable Hands.

Blackout:Supreame, Bigger Verson Of Voyager, Japanese DVD Paint Scheame With Decepticon Sign Instead Of Autobot, - Little Scorponok, - Little Scorponok Cage, With Tail Blade Weapon And Wrist Guns.

Scorponok:Same Size As The Deluxe But Transformers Into Back Of Blackout From A Scorpion And A Longer Tail. Same Claw And Tail Features. Paint Scheame Of The Battle Set Figure.

Megatron:Supreame, Larger Verson Of Leader With Grey Instead Of Blue And Lighter Grey Near the Month.

Thats What They Should Have Done With The Decepticons.

What Transformer are you? (Movie)

My Results:

Starscream

You are in second of command of the Decepticons. You live for the day to be the leader. You hate who's in charge and waits for the moment to "accidentally" slip a jagged edge of steel in his chest. Unfortunately, the other Decepticons question your leader abilities. You are strong and confident in yourself, but you are a coward when it comes to being out numbered or intimidated.
