Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
Dead Metal wrote:There will maybe a leader class Starscream in the next line.
I mean he survived the first move, so who knows.

I said that in another thread. If Starscream's a major player in the sequel I think it's a strong possibility.
Either that or we'll get Allspark Power Nightwatch Powermaster Galaxy Force EDC Prime. Turbo GTS. He's different because he goes to 11.

CMP wrote:I wished. Instead of repainting Leader Prime and Leader Brawl, they should of made Leader Starscream, giving him hands, like in the movie. Also, Leader Blackout or Leader Bonecrusher would rock. If they didn't want to do a Leader Bonecrusher than at least, make it a Voyager, instead, of that blue Ironhide. I'm sure Hasbro has the money to do it, instead of repaints, seeing how the movie toys are selling.
CMP wrote:I can understand, why Hasbro would make deluxes out of the other Decepticons. I mean, really, in the movie, almost all of the Cons would have to be Leader Class. And, well, the kids would want the Transforemrs that were in the movie. So, if they made most of the Cons, in Leader Class, it would be hard for kids to get the toys.
CMP wrote:On the other hand, now that the movie line, is going to make way for the animanted line, Hasbro, should make the older fans happy, and relese, bigger molds for the other Cons, Starscream, Blackout, and Bonecrusher.
CMP wrote:About scale. Well, I know that Hasbro may not care, but IMO if they are going to have Transformers with alt. modes be real-world vehicles, then they should be in scale. If, Transformers have future alt. modes or Cybertron alt. modes, that is different. But, if they are going with real-world vehicles, then Hasbro, should make sure they are in scale.
I know the Alternators line was in scale with each other. I'm sure that was because, it was base on real-world vehicles. That, and it seems to aim at the older TransFans.
CMP wrote:The Autobots are find. It is mostly the Decepticons that need, to be bigger.
Starscream - Leader Class
Bonecrusher - Voyager/Leader Class
Blackout - Leader/Supreme Class
The rest of the Cons are OK. But, those three should be made, at least, in those Classes.
I know Hasbro, made Brawl in Dexlue Class, and later Leader Class. So, they can hopefully, relese bigger molds of some of the others that, would be better.
Just, IMO.

As for that news info, I never saw that ... I guess that's where AB got the idea for the thread?

skywarp-2 wrote:The Blue Ironhide is a minimal cost risk..releasing a voyager Bonecrusher in packaging is a risk considering that Hasbro isn't sure of the impact or selling quality it will have ont he market.. although i don't understand why not?? I mean he was a frickin main character in the movie... ofcourse the lesser known guys have sold well, and repainting voyagers and deluxes aren't as big a gamble as releasing a new mould..I'm confused by why we haven't seen the leader Starwscream and voyager Bonecrusher.. it doesn't make much sense..
skywarp-2 wrote:That's a perfect reason as to why we won't see anymore larger sized movie toys.. unfortunately.. And also the crummy sales expectedfrom that horrible joke in plastic..Ultimate Bumblebee..Hasbro's Gimmick riddled flop..had they stuck to Transformation as the gimmick.. with automorph..I suppose they could have went the Leader class route with more characters.. I just can't help but feel that we are stuck in this situation because of the decisison to do Ultimate Bumblebee..
skywarp-2 wrote:If you had taken the deluxe 08 design and made it a Voyager sized class and squeezed in some more articulation.. and an accurate paint application.. then you could have called that Ultimate Bumblebee.. instead of that monster radioshack P.O.S.!!
skywarp-2 wrote:yeah, that would be nice.. only the perception at Hasbro is, that there aren't enough of us to support a full fledged line of new Leader class being done.. the repaints are easy, adn they know we'll buy them.. plus they are limited in number..which I suppose is for Us fans..but tell that to those who missed out on the Best Buy Exclusives..![]()
sorry guys, but I got mine...
skywarp-2 wrote:the Alternators were in scale because they were all cars!! the Jets and Helicoptor would be a ginormous transformer toy too big to want to produce.. everything is about costs to major companies these days.. big badass toys just don't seem to be in them anymore..
skywarp-2 wrote:Now that size class could work...unfortunately I don't think it will ever happen.. atleast not until TF2.. I know Starscream will get a Leader class toy in the next film's release.. and maybe we'll get a bigger and better Prime mould too!! Here's hoping..

The thing about the Blue Ironhide is, what is the point? I mean, if they have his G1 colors, like they did for Prime, Ratchet, and Jazz, the fans will buy it. Mostly, because, it is base on G1. And, as for the kids. I'm sure most of them, if they want a figure don't care that much about the color.
So, if they have G1 Colors Ironhide, then, not only will older fans buy it, but if kids want a Ironhide, and don't care about the color, just get that. I don't see the point in that, he wasn't like that in the movie, or other times, like G1.
The Blue Ironhide may be a minimal cost risk, but a G1 Colors Ironhide, would be a even more minimal cost risk, because, the older fans may buy it because, it is in G1 colors, and most kids won't care about the colors. So, Hasbro will get the older fans and the collectors, and also the kids to.
I'm sure Hasbro has the money to make a bigger Starscream, Bonecrusher, and Blackout. The thing is, they don't need to start form scratch. All they need to do, is to take the molds, that they already have, and just make them bigger. That's all. Except for Starscream, in which, they should give him hands, if he is going to be Leader Class. That's all, their is to it.

Auto Bot wrote:I agree that Blue Ironhide didn't make sense. You keep away a sizable portion of potential buyers by not making him red instead.
With regards to increasing the size of some Deluxe and Voyager toys to become Leader class toys, it's not as simple as that. With the bigger size you have to incorporate more features and details into it. Like what happened to Deluxe Brawl growing up into Leader Brawl.

Yeah, bigger figures means, they have to add in more details. And the features, like sounds and stuff.
Anyway, I still think they should make Leader Class verisons of Starscream, Bonecrusher, and Blackout. Well, Starscream may get a Leader Class version for TF2. But, I dunno about Bonecrusher or Blackout.
Maybe, if to hype TF2, they rerelese some of the first movie figures. But, with only the Autobots and Decepitcons in the movie, and we get a Leader Class verison of Bonecrusher and Blackout, there.
One can, hope.
