That's only according to you and very small core of naysayers. We are legions to love Ultimate Bumblebee.

I really like my 'Bee. Yeah the door wings are a little weird, but he stands up nice even with three dogs running into my desk. He's really cute and I adore his car alarm. :D
WARNING!
Rabid fangirl - Approach with extreme caution!

Door wings are sexy.

Im hoping one day to pickup my Ultimate Bumblebee, but im pretty sure when it comes close to Christmas I can get it on Clearance..I cant justify in spending 80 bucks on a figure thats not worth it..The local Walmart where I live has over 100 something bumblebees in some kind of pyramid display next to the toy aisle.. They most likely have more, lots more..Ill be happy if im able to get him for 40.00..

I was thinking the same thing for a 14" figure at a masterpiece price. The transformation seems to me like peeling the skins off and putting back together.

The alarm is one of the best noises he makes. After honking you twice and/or playing a song to get your attention, he immobilises himself, with a rather defeated sounding blip-blip!

I'd have to give him a 3. He is a figure that you will enjoy having, but you could also happily live the rest of your life without.

i'd say 5 if you like buying over-priced paperweights. 1 if you like saving money.

Can't help but agree with you. Had the potential to be so much more than what it turned out to be. Oh well. Move on to bigger and better things I guess.

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!
