Kill Hotrod in TFTM2
C'mon who's with me? I mean F that guy! It would be great, he could get in Primes way ala the animated scenario but end up getting smoked. Realy the best he deserves is to be taken out by a decepticon bitch slap the way Bumblebee got done by a seeker in one of those old cartoons except that jabrone would never get up again harrrrr
Maybe we could make this a movment the way the Peter Cullen thing ended up last time. What do you think? TX

Haha I can just see it now...
Prime- (Points gun at Megatron and Hotrod)'Outta the way Hotrod'
(looks around)
Prime- 'Ahhh screw this' (shoots both of them)
ahhh sweet payback

I like Hotrod also, and I don't think he was responsible for Prime's death; he was just doing what he thought was right. Who knows, maybe if Hotrod didn't interfere things would have turned out even worse.
Besides, Bay wouldn't use that scene in a live action movie, it has already been used. They are probably going to think of a different way to kill OP in the new movies.

If he's as annoying and pathetic as Jazz was, sure.
But if he's characterised properly, he'll be fine.
Let's bring in Grimlock and have him killed in the opening sequence instead.

I liked Hot Rod! He was young and impulsive and made a lot of mistakes. He was only doing what he thought was right.

Not that I care about Grimlock very much, but how would that make sence and fit into a linear plot line any better that Jazz's death did?

It wouldn't. I just hate Grimlock.

Bring Hotrod into the next film? No way. There's plenty of other 'Bots to be put to good use.

I agree. Prowl, Wheeljack, Soundwave, not to mention others.
If Bay gets wind of Hot Rod he might make Hot Rod one of those awesome rookie types. I've heard someone here on the forums say that Bay might find a bit of himself in Hot Rod. Not to mention an affinity for flames...
Ah well, we can always blame USA Today for pointing him out.

Why? Because **** him that's why. Who are these people that like hotrod? He got in the way and ruined the transformers for alot of us back in the day and I for one would like some payback. Perhaps a big robo uppercut the leaves a big whole in his chest. We could cheer as the red smoke rises from his eyes as they flicker out. However the warning that Mr. Bay could find hotrod perfect for his robo leading role does give me pause.

Ha Ha, I support this Idea...BUT.. I actually like Hotrod. It's Rodimus Prime that I hate with an unholy passion. But I still like your idea none the less lol.

I liked Hot Rod in the movie. He seemed like a cool big brother. Who wouldn't want to go fishing with a Transformer?

Hot Rod = cool.
Rodimus = Tool
If they somehow incorporate Galvatron (like Scorpinok finding and rebuilding Megatron) , I hope they give him a man's voice (like in the movie) and not the raspy crap in the series.
Thoughts?

Raspy crap? I loved Megatron's hoarse metallic strains. It was like he was so powerful that it was eating away at him.
I also like Hot Rod and Prowl.
I've never understood the love for those know-alls Wheeljack, Perceptor and Jetfire.
Want to see more of Barricade and Ratchet in the sequel.

I think they'll go for character types instead of characters for the sequel. So be it Hot Rod or Hot Shot (I believe they'll use one of those names) I'm sure they'll have the young enthusiastic style character in the film.
Personally I would be happy with either name. As long as they don't turn him into the next leader (Rodimus Prime)
