I am looking for suggestions, but will tell the story first.

So, I finally sold my extra unopened Leader Optimus Prime to someone. Unfortunately, when I got home, I had an email from him saying that it was missing the rubber part of the righthand smokestack. So I looked at my pictures I had taken of him in the box, and sure enough, it is missing one.

He already called Hasbro, and they said that there is nothing that they can do, and he should just return it to the store (problem being be bought it from me and I live 40 miles away from him). I emailed Hasbro and told them the situation, and am waiting for a reply.

Does anyone have any other suggestions, or even the part of a smokestack that is missing? Or know where I could get him one cheap? I will probably have to pull off the one that I have on mine and send it up to him. Thanks in advance.

He should be able to return it to Wal-Mart with out a receipt.

Problem is, none of the stores around here have any Leader Primes left. I have seen a ton of Brawls and a couple of Megatrons in the past 2 months. He was willing to drive about 25 miles to pick this up, so I don't think he would want to return it to a Walmart if they didn't have a Prime to replace it, and I am guessing that they would give him a discounted price if he did return it without a receipt.

Well, since I havent really got any responses, I was wondering if anyone thought it would look alright to just cut the one rubber pipe in half. I think the one I sold to the guy must have been defective, cause he can pull the other smokestack out, and mine seem prettywell glued in there.

Would cutting it maybe be an option, I guess I am wondering how the back endo of the rubber part of the tailpipe looks, so if he did this, they would look the same. Or if anyone has any answers to the original question on a new day.
