GuyIncognito wrote:So what potential TF2 toys are you excited about? Now that it's been confirmed(?) that the Constructicons will be in TF2 and will combine, I can't wait to see what the inevitable toys look like! I already think those will be must-buys for me.
I didn't like the Megatron design in TF1, and so never bought any Movie Megatron figures, but I'm hoping the new Megatron toys will be cooler, cause the tank mode looks much cooler than the "Cybertron jet" mode.

TFW2005 has received confirmation that the combiner Devastator will appear in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The confirmation includes the following details:
- Seven construction vehicles merge to form Devastator
- Devastator has lots of upper body strength, like a gorilla
- Not just green, some of the vehicles are red and yellow
- The previously seen Long Haul concept art (image to left) by Josh Nizzi is legit

I may just enjoy the media and let the figures go this time.
The first movie toys were too much of a debacle.

I'm very excited over Megatron, and I want to see how the Fallen will look, on-screen and in toy form.
I'm looking forward to seeing all the new toys that I'll be spending money on next year.

Not that CP needs the affirmation, but I agree. I hopped on the first movie toy bandwagon because they looked interesting, but they just weren't that enjoyable in the long run, so I sold nearly all of them. I may pick up one or two, but I'm not going to drain the budget on TF2 toys.
El Duque wrote:I'll most likely get them all as long as they aren't straight repaints from the last movie line. I know they have stated there will be new leader class molds for Prime and Megatron with new transformations, bit I wonder if BB, IH, and Rachet will get new molds since it doesn't appear their alt modes have changed? I'm most interested in the Constructicons.

They say there are three times more TFs in the sequel, so I think we can expect a lot of new molds. There's Jetfire, the Chevy Volt, the Corvette, the 3-wheeled motorcycle...
