i gotta say that the free Matrix Optimus Prime Kreon made the whole thing worth it in the end though. and, it was nice to be surrounded by other geeks that understand my passion for robots!

i am speaking for myself. i definitely saw some other geeks there besides me, and it was awesome. i guess you weren't one of them and that's fine. you're just a normal non-geeky dude (perhaps jock/preppy type) that likes to hang out in a Transformers chat room. that's cool.![]()
GEEK WITH PRIDE TILL THE DAY I DIE!!!

Sure, it's always nice to see what you're getting in person, but is it worth paying way more for that opportunity? I went with about a grand I was willing to burn in the dealer room and only ended up spending about $300 (not including the club exclusives.) They didn't have a lot of what I was looking for and most the rest I could get for a lot less online.

HA! Craggy, i've used the name Billprestonesquire on Ebay and other sites for over fifteen years and i think you're the first person to get the reference!!!
as for being mean...i hope i wasn't too harsh. i was just trying to point out the fact some of us don't mind being called a geek and take pride in it. it's nice to be able to laugh at yourself every now and then...and he IS in a Transformers chat room!

Midnight_Fox wrote:I was pretty happy with my experience. I found most of what I was looking for(wasn't surprised on the things I didn't find) for what I expected or less(sometimes way less, like most of the Animated figs for $5 complete but loose). All in all, I came home with more figs than I was expecting to.
