4 out of 6 is a "very normal-sized coincidence" to you?
when the total is 6
2 out of 6 is weird
3 out of 6 is a coincidence
4 out of 6 suggest a pattern.
and yes one of the items was contained in a Scepter
S is the last letter in the name Thanos.
now, I'll admit to being a bit confused as to which gem is which in comparison to their comic names.
but so far in the films we have seen 4 gems.
and each was contained in something that was named.
the Tesseract ,Aether ,the Orb and the Scepter

Burn wrote:Doctor Strange was a good movie. Sure, it's another origin movie, but it introduces us to a different side of the greater MCU.
Cumberbatch was I expected, suited for the role. The fight scenes were well done. The story flowed nicely, though the final show down with the real big bad was a bit ... short. But it does the job of what it was meant to do. Introduce us to Strange, introduce us to a new aspect of the MCU, and of course lay the foundations for Stranges future appearances.

Not to dredge this old thing up but the Time Gem being contained in the Eye of Agamotto means I was right, and it was just a coincidence. I don't know why it suddenly popped into my head.

While I actually hate the thought of this "theory", it may not be a coincidence. Of course these theorists are making a bit of a stretch by calling the Eye of Agamotto a "necklace"

I'm a little disappointed that he might have such a large role. Do they really need another one of the big names to help drive the movie?

Hellscream9999 wrote:But, isn't this kind of the point of the 'cinematic universe'? We're now deep enough into these movies that they can start bleeding into the other movies to help them actually feel grounded in the same universe?
I can't really put into words why I think it won't hurt the movie, but I think that by now, they know enough to not screw over the movie. Plus, I don't think it'll be that large of a role, and he is only continuing the established role set up for him as the gateway for Peter into this world.

I don't think it'll hurt the movie, I just don't feel it's necessary. Are they trying to emphasize the point that this new Spidey is in the MCU and to make us forget the past?
