Methods for protecting rubber parts on your bots

What are the best methods to protect rubber parts on your bots?

Any mold from RID Prime to G1 Shockwave, please let me know your techniques to preseve the rubber on your Transformers.

Automotuve rubber protectant. Mothers makes a good one for vintage car rubber and plastic trim. I suppose ArmorAll would work fine for rubber tires. But, hey, it just wasn't made to last forever...

display it in robot mode. it won't save the rubber in the long run (nothing will i guess) but at least without the weight and pressure exerted from the tires carrying the alt modes, i'm sure it will last a bit much longer.

Thanks for the tips guys, any worries of the rubber protectors have an effect on the plastic?

Just be careful when you apply it and you won't have to worry. I would probably advise you not to apply any chemicas and then lock the figure up in a zip lock baggy though.
