That was pretty funny tonight. I enjoy SW but I'm not hardcore, so I'm sure someone who knows all the details would appreciate it even more. Hopefully they make a sequel (or Trilogy?!) especially since they have all the sets / characters ready.

Awesome! I've been waiting for this for a while. I loved the "Emperor on the phone with Vader" sketch they did a while back.

Went to the Westland TRU yesterday and picked up a DCH Two-Face, nice! They had a couple of Movie Magatrons there too...this was around 3pm.

Watched the Robot Chicken special last night, it was hilarious as expected. Highly recommended. And they even start it off with the "Emporer/Vader phone conversation" sketch.
I told the fire to go **** itself, and it did.

My wife participated in the 'Race for the Cure' downtown on Saturday. There was lots of sponsors and promo items, etc. One item was a postcard of the Megatron one-sheet movie poster & on the back is an invite to an advanced showing of the movie, Thursday June 28th @ 7:30pm at the Emagine in Novi. I obviously I'm very excited. Then 7am the next morning, it's off to the con.

Anything specific you looking for bud? I was going to call you Sunday to see if you were interested in the Fort Wayne trip but my girl and I had a bunch of house stuff to talk about plus I figured you were going to be busy with family stuff.

Buy from JTKranix on eBay

Postby JTKranix » Mon Jun 18, 2007 4:45 pm

I wanted to share my latest email with Wal-Mart.

That's fine, thanks.

The bigger issue is the lack of availability of Wal-Mart exclusives in my area. The Decepticon Sneak Attack is one of 3 Wal-Mart exclusives I have been looking for at retail. The Decepticon Sneak Attack is available online although my luck of receiving one undamaged has been pretty poor, the other two are not available from http://www.walmart.com so I am left with two options. I can buy them at a 300-400% markup on eBay or I can try to find a store I'm willing to drive to in order to buy them.

After spending hours this weekend calling various stores including many in Indiana and Ohio (I live in Michigan) I found the other two exclusives at Wal-Mart #5025 in Fort Wayne, IN which is a 4+ hour round trip from Holt, MI.

There is no site to store shipping available until July in Michigan but that doesn't do me any good if the items are not available on the website anyway.

I appreciate the refund but I would really like to know what needs to be done or who I need to talk to in order to get at least one store in my area to stock the exclusives. I understand that the Wal-Mart in Charlotte, MI had two of the items I was looking for but never stocked them and ended up returning them.

I'll include the UPC numbers for all three items; I only have the Wal-Mart number for one as it was the only item listed on http://www.walmart.com.

Thanks!

I went to the West Lansing Target and the Eastwood Wal-Mart, neither store had anything new. I was checking Wal-Mart for the new blanket and place mats.

I HATE SCHOOL :-x :-x :-x

The shortened sping and summer semesters suck! 12 hours of class a week plus homework, projects and exams every fricking day of class pretty much has me at wits end! Between school, work, and hockey, I'm only home an average of 2 nights a week, only one of which my wife is home on. I literaly only see her about 8-9 hours a week excluding crawling in to bed to sleep.

Thank god school comes to an end the Tuesday before I leave for Botcon!

Ok, my 5 minutes of free time for the week are up and I've ranted, so I feel a little better :)

I hope everyone else is doing ok and I hope to see some of you at Botcon

I picked up the complete set of Burger King toys on eBay for $23 with free shipping this morning. That was much easier than trying to get them from BK.

There is also a Stan Bush panel, which I'm sure will be equally hilarious.

Yeah I went to my Dad's Sunday to have a cook out. I didn't even take my phone with me so I wouldn't of been able to return your call anyways.

As for what I am lookin for. Well I am gonna try to get my hands on a Starscream. And maybe an Arcee for my cousin. He likes that mold. Though if anyone finds a Leader Class Brawl, I would love you forever if you got one for me. And yes I mean THAT kind of love. It IS LC Brawl after all. :)

So, on a homework break I wondered, have any of you ever been to the G.I. Joe convention before or planning to attend this year in Atlanta?

I will most likely be going but have never been to one before, so I was wondering how they compare to Botcon.

Most likely next month. There is a second "official" release date, July 14, for the next wave of movie toys, including Deluxe and Voyager.

Hah! Thats awesome, I couldn't stop laughing :P

While TF's are far and beyond my favorite, I love the 3 3/4" Joe line and have about 80-85 percent of the vehicles and 90% of the figures from 82-90.

But hey, if I can snag a few TF's there...

I would love to hit a Joe convention one of these days, maybe next year.

Is that FIN 350 at EMU? If so, I had that class, I was very happy with my 'C'. Just as long as I didn't have to retake the course.
