The Turbomasters and Predators were banned from being sold in the USA/Canada because of those very missiles and missile launchers.
The reason that most toys today that have firing projectiles (and many of them do), are so very weak is due to US toy safety laws that prohibit missile launchers to launch their missiles over a certain speed/force. Missiles also have to be over a certain length, to pass the laws.
This is supposed to be so that young children (and people in general) cannot fire missiles into their mouths and choke on them, or injure their eyes/ears etc etc.
So toy companies have to have weak missile launchers, or their toys wont be allowed to be sold legally in the USA, the biggest toy market in the world.
Dont ask me how Attacktix got around the laws though, as I do not know.
