Interesting pics. I'm still not sold though. I really hate the new round, bulky and cartoon look they have. They will surely make great toys for kids, they look solid and all, but for me, for now, I'm not interested at all. Its just too soon for me.

I'll keep an eye on them though. New pics, reviews and maybe the show ( I highly doubt this one...) might make me change my mind.

Dinobots, Starscream, Prowl, Megatron,..I think they look really cool. A few of the designs I'm not sold on, but the trailer on that page definitely makes it look like a fun series.

I'll say what I've said in other threads bout these toys, I'm really looking forward to them, love the two versions of prime (and he does have a faceplate on the toys, looks like it can be moved down on the Cybertron version), Megs looks cool, and I can't wait to see more Blitzwing.

Now these look more like realistic cartoon toys. Though the Optimus Prime looks like he is really hard to Transform considering he has no things to connect with.

I'd like to see some of you get any posability out of Bulkheads short, stubby legs. LOL

I don't know, the figures look okay. So-so. The only thing that really annoys me are the faces and that ugly little girl in the new cartoon.

I can't wait for this line.
The figures look so damn awesome, I want them all.
Been a very long time since I've been into a complete toy line.
But man, I like this a whole lot more than the movie figs.
Thanks for finding the pics some of em are really sweet angles of the SDCC displays.

Is it me or do most of them look like they're going to be at the Deluxe and Voyager price points?

Yes, it seems like they've phased out the Leader Class and Supreme Classes. The largest sizes will probably be Voyager.

I personally think that's a good thing. I've had enough of the bigger classes once I get Leader Brawl - then I'll have 3 LEaders then I'm happy. If they concentrate on making quality deluxes and Voyagers I'll happily support them (some of the most worthwhile toys come from these 2 classes).

Price will probably be the determining factor in if I get into this line, that and the quality of the show. But even if the show sucks if all the figures are $10-20 I might still pick up a few.

Why do they need to ruin Prime with those lips in every friggin' series... I've never gotten used to it, I'll never like them...

The other characters look great though, like the new style. Change is good. Soundwave, Grimlock and Slag look especially awesome!

Isn't it kinda odd to complain about Prime having lips in the same post as you say "change is good" :-? .

Change is good, it just doesn't mean I have to like everything that's changed.

I love the new style of animation and the new bot designs, but I believe in respecting the source material. I consider myself one of the more liberal TF fans, I liked the Movie style while most other people were busy hating them because they weren't "traditional" and I like the Animated style even though alot of people hate it right now. I think that putting lips on Prime is not smart - his faceplate and general appearance is one of those rare things in the TF Universe that shouldn't change.

Maybe I should have used the word "evolution" instead of "change"...

I can respect that. But I like the the idea of Prime having a mouth if for nothing else than the fact that it allows him to be more expressive, though I appreciate them keeping the faceplate as part of his battle mode.

Instead of face plate or lips, why not something like Movie Bumblebee? They don't have any other uses for their mouth. Only to produce sounds.

some of the molds look decent, as someone before me said, either lots of kibble or really good designs...regardless...
i hate to come across as one of those purist 'if it's not g1 i hate it' guys, but damn...what have they DONE? i love transformers as much as the next guy, but i find myself having trouble getting excited about this...

honestly, why would there ever be an enormous electric guitar just hanging around what looks to be an armored truck?

I think the truck/wagon thing is cool. It looks very much like modified Toyota xB.

But the giant guitar is really weird. Let's see how that turns out in the cartoon.
