Having acquired the Predaking reissue recently, I'm a little confused about the twin black rifles for Headstrong and Tantrum. There don't seem to pegs to fit them in animal mode, and neither Headstrong nor Tantrum can carry both when holding their swords. Either there are pegs I've overlooked, or it seems Hasbro has produced more weapons than the figures can actually hold. Have I missed something?

I don't know about the Predacons really, but G1 figures seldom had places to store all of their robot mode weapons when in alternate mode. The Autobot cars (Jazz, Skokescreen, Prowl, etc.) were really bad about it.

They weren't designed to hold all weapons at the same time. Back in the 80's it was just cool to have a surplus of weapons for your transformers.

I was confused about that too when I bought the reissue Predaking. But I display my Predacons in robot mode anyways so I have some of them with two guns, some with two guns and a sword. Basically my Predacons look like they'll just wipe the floor with your @$$ in no time flat! :grin:

The guns don't fit in animal mode but you can mount the foot stands on the back if you want to. There are only three predacons you can mount there guns in animal mode razar claw, rampage, divebomb.
