hows the transformation going, and did you alter those bionicles, i cant see how normal bionicles could hold all that weight at the knees, unless you leave the styrene hollow but then the custom woudl be too weak, new head loosk much better though

the bionicles parts are only temporary... since the arms will pick up weight i,ll have to modify some aspects... but it will barely show.... as for the transformation, everything works well but right now i,m concentration on the robot form....

Looks awesome so far, and that headsculpt looks so much better. The only thing I'd suggest is adding a little material to the brow area (literally just a bit at the top of the eyes/bridge of the nose), so that you can resculpt the eyes slightly to make them look more menacing; as it is he looks slightly vacant.

that last shot is looking a lot like megatron. I think you have all the ellements of the face done ok but at slightly different scales. The eyes lack menace because they are slightly too wide when compared to the length of the face. The gaurds also look a little thick. With a design as good as this seems to be (ie megatron in both modes) its worth fixing or doing the head again to get the character right.
If you make more of these like some of your other work, are you going to use 20th op parts in those?

ehhh. the angles on the new head look really strange. the forehead part of the helmet looks like it's bending up in the middle front too much. I hope you're not trying to modify a head that's been build with styrene panels and making it smaller. if so, I'd just start over and make a smaller version of the same thing, or just stick with the original and make the face larger or something...

To be hounest I think you rushed the head. It looks bad to me.
I think you just wanted to hurry and do the head so it can help you imagine the overall look of how the finnished product would be to directionalize yourself for where you go from here.
It's a crutch. Not a bad attempt but I really do feel you could do better on the head. The rest looks perfect.
Still waiting to see updated shots of the gun mode...

Blowhard. I think that the head looks perfect, just like the body.

How is it being a Blowhard by recognizing the atmmpts I've done in the prossess of trying to help visualize where the end result would be.
He did do great on everything and the head's not bad but I can still see him not being happy with it in the end and changing it.
First attempts are best for helping learn a prossess when you finalize it on your next prototype.
I do the same thing and I still continue to do it to this day and plan to continue that prossess. But 9 times out of ten I'll change the finalized peice and this head feels like one of those times.
Knowing Mark, not only can the head be better but in his case it WILL be better.

anyway, there is not shame in making a dozen heads. As long as it looks right in the end. I also think it would be better to start the head over, but maybee leave it until later. I wouldn't want you looze momentum on the body.

I think the head is progressing. The face is much better on this last one. You probably need to bring the thickness of the helmet down a bit--that would probably fix quite a lot. It also means there's some playroom with this one versus starting over.
