My lessons in patience...MP Starscream

I agree, the key is to wait. I called up my Wal-mart to make sure they had had the figure in the system, and when they told me he was on order, I waited a couple of days and actually went in. Now I have an MP Starscream of my own. ...And a random tendency giggle psychotically at the most inopportune of times. You win some, you loose some.

Heh. Went to walmart today on my first try and snagged starscream. There was only about ten or so when I left.

I found him today in Bloomingdale, IL and the eight remaining ones were gone about 4 hours later. There must be some very determined scalpers out there hunting him.

to sonny318 (and everyone else who bought MP SS): this might seem a little odd, but:
how was SS displayed? or did you get him straight from the pallet? my wal-mart has no space anywhere for him in the TF aisle and i would like to have some idea where to look. thanks.

I went to the same store Sonny318 went to(fishkill Walmart store upstate ny), later about 9:30 this morning and they were on the bottom shelf with the Leader figures. And they had about 6 boxes(minus the 2 me and sonny318 got) left. But that was this morning. Dont know how many is left now.

He seems to be made of cheaper plastic, He feels like he will fall apart the first two times you transform him. (with all the force you have to use) but after a couple transformations he is easier to transform.
Thats really the only problem with him.
I still love him. I take back my last comment. pick him up when you have a chance.

Local store had one sitting on top of a bunch of Voyagers on the shelf just randomly, and when I looked up, there were about 20 of them stacked in the overhead. No price or spot on the aisle for them atleast at the store I found him at.

Finally found in South Jersey
I finally found MP SS in my local Wal Mart. There were only three left and the cashier who checked me out said she liked it so much after looking at mine she was going to pick it for her son on her break.
PM me if you want to know where in SJ the store is. I'll check here often to see if anyone needs the information.
It was the greatest feeling to round the corner and see him sitting there after 2-3 weeks of checking all my local Wal Marts 3-4 times a week.
I didn't expect him to be so light, I thought he would at least be heavy like 20th anniversary Prime but I guess SS doesn't have any metal parts.
He was just sitting at the bottom empty shelves where the leader class transformers would normally be. No price tag on the shelf.
Good luck!

I waited for local stores to have leader movie Megs.
I waited long.
I waited patiently.
I waited.
I waited.
I waited.
I began to lose patience.
I waited.
I waited.
I began to ask store owners when they would come in.
They told me that people had been coming early and buying them straight off the truck.(See, scalpers are real)
They told me to come early and beat them to it.
I came.
I waited.
I beat the scalpers.
Then they told me that they were no longer recieving shipments of that particular item."SORRY"
Yup, good things sure do come to those who wait.

Well, I have to say, as cool as this guy is, there are parts on him, particularly the main wing flaps and one of the tail wings on mine, that fall off rather easily, but then, they snap right back on no problem. I guess that's to keep kids from permanently breaking him.
But for me personally, it's fun transforming MP SS back and forth. And this is one case where the instructions actually prove to be quite helpful!

There is nothing wrong with the figure at all. He is NOT made of cheaper plastic.
If one is comparing him to MP Skywarp ... remember that SW is painted and glossed. WM/SS is not. His finish is a little dull, but I think it's friggin awesome.
I love the figure, it's freakin great!

I started this post as a means to convince myself to be patient...I didn't even have to wait that long. Sweeet!!
