OK time for some clues:

As I said this is the third installment of a series of very influential films, the first film was made in the 60's the second in the 70's and this film in the 80's all by the same director, often referred to as a trilogy however others we made afterwards also by the same director.

Ah. I've only seen "Night of" and I missed all the characters around Ironhide being Decepticons, so I thought it was the D-Day scene from "SPR." Let me see what I can come up with here.

Okay, I'll admit this didn't take long because I've been brainstorming ideas lately, and I was told to stay home tonight because we recorded our ninth positive infection at work. I will be the first to agree this is very understated, and it's based on a poster, not a scene.
