Sharp and Morshower are 2 completely different characters, they just got Morshower to play both. Sharp was indeed killed in the base strike in the first movie. General Morshower is also in the military in real life for those that didn't know

My dislike for the movies and toylines aside, I still know they pumped life into the franchise and kept the TF line going strong... so we could see the sidelines like (the amazing) Classics and FOC (and I actually like PowerCore as well... much fun.)

So somewhere in the back of my head, I know all that relentless barrage of horrible Bumblebee repaints sold to little kids helped fund the bots I'm buying.

So that tip of the hat extends to fellow fans like MegatronWolf. They're collecting movie stuff keeps the classics, FOC, masterpiece toys coming.

Actually, Classics was released in 2006, before the films. And before the Bumblebee Bombard.

and FOC (and I actually like PowerCore as well... much fun.)

FOC is a part of Generations, which is a successor to Classics.

I agree, it's total nonsense to say that the ones saw it in theaters are stupid ignorant homeless people. I'm a first class transformers fan and I've seen it 3 times in cinemas.
I've enjoyed the 3 movies, 2 did have horrible moments and overall it doesn't come close to what High Moon did in FOC.

Still, whatever movie Mr. Bay ships out, I'll watch it, and probably 2 times more and buy the blu ray as soon as it hits ebay. And I'll buy all the onscreen figures, unless they cost 100 bucks (I hate you DOTM deluxe leadfoot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Yeah, I was meaning Classics as a broad term. My point was that the lines aimed at kids help fund the niche lines.

Hey gang. I actually was deliberately trying to lighten the mood after dropping a political joke (the binders full of women). Lord knows I don't want a full thread of people arguing politics. We have enough debate between the Bayverse and G1ers.

(Wow. I realized just had to argue to justify my use of a smiley... oh, you crazy internets!)

Not really sure I understand the need to reintroduce high school characters into the plot when its supposed to have a 'different feel' than the 3 previous movies even though its keeping canon with the previous 3 movies. Other than catering to the casual demographic again.

You could have just thrown a ton of money at Shia so he couldn't refuse it and get him back on board or thrown a ton of money at a preggers Megan Fox and gotten the same result as you will bringing in another Victoria secret model as a high school girl.

I guess it does add truth to the idea that this film will have a smaller budget. Bay got so cheap he didn't want to pay anybody from the previous 3 movies to come back again at a potentially higher cost.

Though if Peter Cullen is coming back. I guess were supposed to (assuming its going to) pretend he knows nothing about Sam or the Cons won't bother harassing him again. Maybe he moved to the center of the Earth or something.

The whole thing smells like a reboot of the first film only insert hot chick as the lead instead of Shia and keeping loose continuity with the previous movies.
