Is this pending release/real? Are we gonna see more re-releases of older classics? Seeing as how I just spent about $500 over the last few months buying older classics figures to complete my collection, it seems likely

Those are the original Classics 2-pack released in a different box. That happened several times but I doubt they're doing it again. The fact that the box says Classics and not Generations means it's an old release.

This was released a year or two ago. I bought one from BBTS awhile back since I am trying to collect everything in the Generations line. Good alternative if you do not want to open your Classics version.

I just bought that set at TJ Maxx for 12.99 although Meg's feet are assembled backward.

This one is actually the third release of that pack:

- Classics
- Universe 2003, liquidator store exclusive
- 2010 line, liquidator exclusive

Nothing new at all.

For the love of sanity, PLEASE DONT BUY THAT GARBAGE!

Both figures feel extremely cheap, like bad dollar store knock-off. Transformations are full of parts flying off everywhere. And OP's Truck mode is absolute scraps.

I paid 25$+taxes last December in store for these and I feel I was ripped off. Usually, I love to buy figures twice, one more time to keep it sealed. However, I refused to buy theses again, even at 15$ on clearance.

I was not aware of that. I wonder if they are backwards on the United release.

I like both toys in there. Sure, they're not perfect, but Prime has a fairly nice robot mode, and Megs is decent. Sort of wish they'd done a Bludgeon repaint/remold of him, mind you, but it works fine for me as a G2 Megs and/or generic 'Con tank trooper. Both have pretty nice guns.

Funny you should ask that. Both the Special Edition and United releases have the feet correctly assembled, but the 2010 re-release has them misassembled again! What's going on?

Thanks all, yeah I was aware the figures themselves had been released, I've had them for awhile, it was the packaging that I was asking about, sorry I should have been more clear, but thanks for answering the packaging thing, I was getting excited thinking Hasbro might start releasing more Classics/Generations soon (other than FOC toys, which look ok), I'd like some repaints of obscure characters or entirely new molds, not to mention the rest of S1/2/3 cast!

I keep seeing them every time I go back.

They've not shown up here, can you remember if they were in Euro boxes or is it more of an overstock scenario?

If they're in regular toy stores, then they may as well be Euro packaging. I don't know how big you guys are on importing Canadian overstock, but I know the Netherlands are
