id really love a sandstorm, i had the origional until recently and was gutted when i lost him, plus, they could use his sand buggy mode and repaint it for beachcomer

They did that already in Energon/Superlink. But if there were to go all out for the Universe Classics I wouldn't want a weak repaint of Sandstorm for Beachcomber.

Can someone explain to me how the botcon Megatron, Optimus Prime, Grimlock, and Jazz work then? They've all got botcon-exclusive as well as main-line releases. I thought it was the mold used, not the name. If that's not true, I don't understand how Springer is off-limits, but the ones listed above are not.

Oh hellz yeah. I'd love to have a Clasics Springer. But not as much as a Classics Squawkbox. Oh yeah, I'd sell my left arm to have one of those. (not really)

The conventions set this year isn't in the same continuity as Classics. Universe Classics are still classified as being inside the Classics Universe. So that's why we have our millionth Prime. Now it is rumored that we will get Jazz in Universe Classics even though we get him in Animated. That was announced at last years Botcon BTW.

I thought that they said at Botcon last year that all the triple changers would eventually see release in one line or the other.

I think there is a good chance of this popular character getting triple change release.

I don't honestly think they can't produce a new Springer because of Botcon Springer. I think it all means that they can't release Botcon Springer AS the new Springer. It's like the Seeker arguement. They could still release the molds, but they'd have to change them a little bit so they don't mass retail the Botcon Seekers. And really, isn't it about high time we got some new Seekers to add to the group?
