Even if it is just a repaint of dirgegun w/ a new head, it's still bloody amazing!
Definitely gonna have to find him on ebay.

That Heinrad is just in a generic Cybertronian body not taken from any existing toy.
However, his speech does seem to be patterned a bit after The Doctor.

After the reveal of Rewind then the Arms Microns and now this, I'm sold on it. The original
Waspinator mold has always meant next to nothing for me, especially now with the Generations one coming out. But I have always been interested in this retool. Would have preferred an updated Dirgegun out of the new Waspinator but that'll never happen. Atleast this will have a fresh looking head and better color layout.

Yeaaa, pretty much this.
I loved Waspinator, and I loved Thrust.
I'll be honest, I don't GET mixing them into one character...not at all....
But I'll probably get the toy just....because how could you pass up something that insane?
Well, I honestly wasn't happy with how they treated Waspinator at the end of Beast Machines, so this is a much more ridiculously Waspinator fate that doesn't completely screw him over as a character.
I for one, didn't like how Beast Machines treated anything. Some scars shouldn't heal.
But on the topic of Waspinator's fate...yes, it all makes sense now. The multiverse made him its chew-toy for all those years so that the pain might forge the perfect pan-dimensional hunter for one purpose:
Ridding the timestreams of Energon Ironhide.
Can't explain exactly why, that's just the subtext I see in Heinrad and Thrustinator's conversation when I look at the pic. And beside Optimash Prime with Spidey-Spud eyes, he shall rule over my collection next year.

That made me laugh harder than it should have. Also, I was gushing over Thrustinator so much I completely ignored the fact that there was TEXT on that page! I appreciate Heinrad's Doctor-y-ness.

Good Lord, it's like they wanted to make a suggestive name, but weren't subtle enough about it.

What recent decision of Hasbro can't the above picture apply to?

Re: Next TFSS 2.0 Character Revealed: Thrustinator
I actually think the idea of a character who's painfully deformed and temperamental because a time traveling accident has merged his past and future selves is /really/ cool. Trying to decide if his voice should sound like Thrust's voice with Waspinator's diction, sound like both of their voices playing at the same time, or sound like it's constantly shifting between the two...

My vote is for the latter, given the grotesque(ly awesome) fusion.

Interesting, and I'm intrigued by the mold (does that cannon flip around?) although given the choice I'd have preferred Dinobot's. Maybe someday I;ll track down the repaint... I hope FunPub does a nice post-Beast Machines spin on this, and not just "BiPolar Waspinator"

For those curious, I did Google the name "Thrustinator", and no NSFW stuff (so get your heads out of the gutter). It is quite a common user name and all images are TF-related. Odd. And yes, I had safe mode *off*, unlike Hasbro that one time
And how do we know it's not a Red Herring?
I still remember that one time they used a "hidden" photoshop of Universe Tankor for BotCon 2010 Clench. Not that I'm doubting the crew, but given the club's antics, I'd rather be safe than sorry. Nice choice of character and mold tho

And how do we know it's not a Red Herring?

Re: Next TFSS 2.0 Character Revealed: Thrustinator
Wow, I LOVE that mold and I love this concept. That makes 2 figures from the next subscription set that I want so far (Barricade is the other). That's still not enough to warrant paying the price of a subscription though, so I'm still sticking to my guns on just waiting for the BBTS preorders for the individual figures and snagging the ones I want that way. I'll still remain a member of the club to get Rampage though.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I am that which is, which was, and is yet to come.
And you will know my name is MEGATRON when I lay my vengeance upon you!

By the way folks, is there a thread on this site listing all of the TFCC/TFSS reveals so far along with the images that have been released? Such a thread/post sure would be handy and the first post containing the list could be easily updated whenever new info is released.

Really interesting straight up recolour of Dirgegun.

We were promised 3 new heads. The first 3 reveals were straight redecos (yes, Barricade is one too), so the final 3 should have new heads. We're not counting the bonus figure, which could be anything. Besides, compare this to the comic panel:

So at this stage (given that the bonus figure will be Eject) given all the details to date, it's likely but unconfirmed then.

The only reason I say unconfirmed but likely is because technically, between Eject, Chromedome and Rewind, you do have 3 figures with new headsculpts
