Looks like the Patriots are getting back to normal...didn't expect them to beat Balitmore, but it probably would have gone the other way if it was in Baltimore.

Cleveland and Cincinnati didn't seem to want to win their game.

So who is the next QB that Washington will turn to? Only against TB could he turn the ball over four times and win...

...or St. Louis. Good God they are horrid.

...can someone tell me when the Bears turned into an offensive juggernaut? 48 points? Really? I mean, I know it's Detroit, but still...48 points? On the other hand, I hear they have so many LB injuries they are begging Dick Butkus to come out of retirement...

New Orleans is the best team in the NFL. No question. Mark Sanchez can't hang onto a football...6 fumbles so far this season.

Tennessee...I just don't know what to say. How can a team fall apart so completely from one year to the next?

Indy...no surprise. Giants...no surprise. No losses for either Manning yet. Too bad their dad was never this good. Looks like Matt Cassel may have a new title: Overrated.

Watch out for Houston. I think they may be picking up steam...and that win was with Andre Johnson only making two catches.

Well the Favre Bowl lived up to the hype. No matter what I think of the guy (:BANG_HEAD: go AWAY already!) Favre is a great QB. Green Bay shut down the running game (which cost me a win in my fantasy game...by 0.05 points damnit!) better than I thought they would.

My big question: does Minnesota play New Orleans at any point? If not, I think they will in the NFC Championship game. And the winner of those two will win the Super Bowl.

12-2 week for me...much better.

This is the Saints schedule for 2009.. Looks like they will face the Vikings or Giants in the NFC championship game (fingers crossed)..

Seconded. Every time I see Tom Brady I want to drywall over that dimple in his chin...so damned annoying! On another note, had a discussion with my wife about Orton and Cutler (my wife is currently beating me in fantasy, BTW.. :oops:

); we decided that the Bears receivers are benefitting from Cutler's experience and making the team better and Orton is benefitting from the really good receiving corps Denver has, making both teams better. Maybe one of the most beneficial trades for both sides of the deal ever.

Dallas got LUCKY today. They had no right to win that game the way they played. Props to Dallas for coming from ahead to tie KC.

St. Louis is bad. REAL bad. REAL REAL bad. I feel sorry for Steven Jackson for being such a good player on a pathetic team. Adrian Peterson is in a slump. Hope he gets out of it soon...he's killing my fantasy team. On the fun side, Brett Favre completed a pass to himself. Believe or not, that's the SECOND time he's done that in his career.

No more Bungles...Cincinnati is the real deal. Who dat?

Giants beat Raiders. And there was much rejoicing....( yaaay). WHen are we shipping Oakland to the CFL or NFL Europe?

Pittsburgh beat Detroit, but the Lions made it interesting. Keep an eye on the Lions...it looks like they are starting to develop. In mean the mean time, Pittsburgh should get Polamalu back next week- a HUGE shot in the arm. Willie Parker may have lost his starting job...it's looking like the LT-Michael Turner situation did a few years back.

Carolina is bad. Jim Zorn is fired...probably. Redskins need to draft a QB in the upcoming draft.

I suppose there is no QB controversy in Philly. McNabb looked great with the rib injury.

Speaking of rib injuries, I think they are making up that Matt Hasselbeck had two broken ribs. As a reward for playing hurt, they gave him the second half off. Or maybe it was the 4 TDs he threw. Hey Jacksonville, did you substitute the snowbirds who live there for your secondary?

Props to Arizona for coming from ahead to Houston. This just in: Andre Johnson is good. Houston may actually be progressing, but they made one more mistake than the Cards and it cost them the game. Next time, run outside for a change rather than up the middle.

Thinking it's cuz Kerry Collins is way over the hill now. Vince Young isn't going to be the franchise QB everyone thought he's be. It's like his 3th season now, and highly doubt they will bench Collins, only if they are losing really badly.

I've never seen anything like it. Incredible. Could be worse...I like to remind Redskins fans of the 1940 NFL Championship game between the Bears and the Skins. 73-0 that day...and it was a Championship game.
