Thats a long movie. I can see me having to keep my legs crossed towards the end!
Stupid Diet Coke and air conditioning, always ruins a trip to the theater for me.

fantastic four 2 is 1 hour 30 min or something like that
movies that are under 2 hours are USUALLY either crap movies or little kid ones.
hence why I like that its 2h 15min

That sounds about right, much longer and it would probably start to feel a little overlong, like Pirates 3 did.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

and it wouldnt have much to it if they did that. having a movie too long means they gotta keep it action packed or else it will get boring.

Seems like a good runtime just look at the other top box office movies this year and their lengths
SM3: 2 hrs. 20 mins.
PoC 3: 2hrs 45 mins
Longer than TF but the questions is does it still apply to movies that aren't threequels?
Ghost Rider 1hr 50mins
300: 1hr 57 mins
Knocked Up: 2hrs 9mins
Really the only blockbuster movies that are under 1 hr 50 mins are comedies like Wild Hogs, Blades of Glory, and Shrek This is probably because its harder to keep people laughing for 2hrs than it is to entertain them with 2hrs of action.
So in conclusion this is a great length for the movie.
I can't wait!

That sounds good to me, I probably would've seen it no matter how long it is. One more thing, no matter what you guys said, Pirates Of The Caribbean 3 was NOT boring, peroid!

this one friend of mine once told me that he snuck in a box of pizza once. the length seems fair enough.
My friend and I snuck in booze for Pirates 3, but I'm thinking not for this. I want to notice aaaaaall the details.
I also agree about the novel making me think it wouldn't be a long film. I hope they changed some things that didn't please me, too.

I think there will be a lot of changes - which is why I won't bother getting either the comic adaption or the novel.
