Mine too. Guess we were the lucky ones.

I'm famous!! Yup that was my Starscream.
...and before anyone laughs at my inability to transform a masterpiece series figure without decapitating it - the head just fell out. I don't think that it was attached in the first place.
I tell you though - re-attaching that head was a complete bitch.
My figure is imperfect as there's red paint missing from one section. Still that makes my figure unique (unlike Red's) so na-na ne na na!

That might not be so bad...

A geographical bonus in my opinion.
...and that was me. I couldn't get the head to pass through the rear canopy behind the head so I popped it off, and then I figured it out.JetfireUK wrote:

Dagon wrote:You know, I was thinking about the cap issue today. Do you think that Hasbro wants the caps on Masterpiece Megatron so they can deny imported ones and then release the capped ones domestically? Don't know if I'm asking that the right way or not, but considering the number of people it seems order the MAsterpiece series and with the success (?) of Masterpiece Starscream, I thought Hasbro might try to get a slice of that sweet money pie. But who'd buy a modified one when you could order an unmodified one, right? So we have to stop or block the orders.
Sorry, I haven't been keeping up with this issue. A freind of mine says she knows a guy who is ordering unmodified Megatrons so I'm gonna get mine through her which would come through him, so I've ignored cap talk and such. Anyhow this was just a thought I had during the day. Forgive me if it's nonsense.
Actually, if anyone's to blame, it's all the jack&ss fathers in the 80's that thought they had to hide a pistol in their sock drawer in case someone broke into their house, & then *not* tell their kids about it, so that when little Billy was helping his mom put away laundry one day he found it, & the next time he had friends over, pulled it out to show it off & killed his friend..... throw in a couple of cops shooting kids pulling out toy guns at them for good measure.....& then the news picking up on the stories, other kids around the country watching the news running to find hidden guns in their own houses while waving their toy guns around at other cops, media blowing it out of proportion, parents blowing it out of proportion..........yadayadayada.....next thing you know we have orange caps. The governmental intervention was just the last step in the whole process.Nemesis Primal wrote:Dagon wrote:You know, I was thinking about the cap issue today. Meh, if Hasbro was gonna get in on this, we'd have heard something about a US release of MP Starscream by now. If Hasbro cares at all, it'd likely be because they're worried about Classics Megs sales, and even in that case it doesn't seem like something they'd do given the number of dufferent versions of Optimus Prime on the shelf.
Personally, I think it's just a silly rumor. If anyone's to blame, it's the US Government.
