I can't believe that a company would produce a toy like this, or any really, and then not make sure it had all of it's fingers......I guess since they're little pieces it can be an oversight, but for the caliber of this piece it seems a real shame that any oversight would be allowed.

Are the fingers broken off or is it a "birth defect" when they try to use the mold?

Or is it just a ball socket in the end of his hand with nothing to fill it? Very sorry to hear that. There seems to be a lot of QC issues with MP Screamer. I got mine from Nac (or is he going by Jaguar XK now?) and everything is in place perfectly. He has some very minor paint mishaps but they are very small and not noticable unless you really look for them. It did take me nearly 2 hours to transform him at first though, for fear of breaking it, it was that light.

Hehe, this thread is funny! Seriously, just have a bit of patience. Getting what you paid for is much more enjoyable than settling for flawed product.

I had heard that somebody tried to transform their MP Satrscream, and the head came off.

The piece that included the fingers is fit in by a ball & socket joint....it's just not there.

Anyway, I got a reply from BBTS & they're sending replacement fingers, free of charge. I'm glad. Now I can keep messing around with this one. Yay for me !!

It's on a ball joint, so it's entirly plasable.

I had a similer thing happen with my alt ravage side missiles.
As assembled they werent pused in properly, so when i tried to transform him, the fell strait out. Took a bit of effort, but they firmly poped in now.

I am going to be a lot more wary of my MP Megatron - I'd probably get the figure to generate a black hole and wipe out half of South East England!

22nd Anni Prime does that to me all time. He has less chance of keeping his head on the toy in my front room than he does of staying alive for longer than 6 weeks in the comics...

My MP STarscream is fine minus on its right side udner the cockpit where it has his solagn...half of it is missing. Other then that it is just fine. I was able to get mine like 2 days after it came out in Japan at Botcon, so I was happy to get a whole bunch of pictures up on Seibertron first with a nice little review. Flux Convoy, Fender Bender and Ryan all got to get a nice look at it too in the hotel room.

I still like the figure a lot, wrong colros or not it is my fav Starscream figure.

I agree with ACS though - MP Starscream is a marvel and I prefer the darker colours. The bright anime colours wouldn't look right (although if they did release one I'd probably buy it being a fan-boy and all).

...and that was me. I couldn't get the head to pass through the rear canopy behind the head so I popped it off, and then I figured it out.

Otherwise, my MP Starscream is perfect.

A freind of mine says she knows a guy who is ordering unmodified Megatrons so I'm gonna get mine through her which would come through him, so I've ignored cap talk and such. Anyhow this was just a thought I had during the day. Forgive me if it's nonsense.

Meh, if Hasbro was gonna get in on this, we'd have heard something about a US release of MP Starscream by now. If Hasbro cares at all, it'd likely be because they're worried about Classics Megs sales, and even in that case it doesn't seem like something they'd do given the number of dufferent versions of Optimus Prime on the shelf.

Personally, I think it's just a silly rumor. If anyone's to blame, it's the US Government.

Actually, if anyone's to blame, it's all the jack&ss fathers in the 80's that thought they had to hide a pistol in their sock drawer in case someone broke into their house, & then *not* tell their kids about it, so that when little Billy was helping his mom put away laundry one day he found it, & the next time he had friends over, pulled it out to show it off & killed his friend..... throw in a couple of cops shooting kids pulling out toy guns at them for good measure.....& then the news picking up on the stories, other kids around the country watching the news running to find hidden guns in their own houses while waving their toy guns around at other cops, media blowing it out of proportion, parents blowing it out of proportion..........yadayadayada.....next thing you know we have orange caps. The governmental intervention was just the last step in the whole process.

Did that make any sense? It did to me, but it's late for me, & my brain is sleepy.....g'nite, populous o'seibertron.

Has anybody had problems with stuff coming off other than the head and hands of MP Starscream?

Top faults with MP Starscream are:

1) The same face on the figure - it should have one fearful and one smirking
2) Missing paint applications
3) Missing fingers
4) Missing null rays
5) Head falling off

But he's still my favourite figure ever

Is that all on your Starscream, or is that from other people too? I think that would be neat to have the fear face too, maybe it could get stored in a chest compartment, unless that would make his chest too big.

Once thing I wished they'd do is make a series that features the Transformers but in a very large size, say around 3.5 or 4 ft. They would be expensive, but they would be very cool to have. It would be the regular ones like Megatron or O. Prime, but they could still transform.
