Peter Mayhew is our special guest at this years Tucks Parade in New Orleans. He arrived at Armstrong Airport and we greeted him in full 501st fashion.

One of my troopmates is pretty good with making custom star wars cards so he made Peter his very own personalized fig with card which we all signed.

After reading so much stuff, it seems like Peter is the only one still grateful for the fans and the opportunity those movies presented him.
Do you see Carrie Fisher or Harrison Ford appearing at stuff like this? Of course not, because they got "sick and tired" of having people relate them to their Star Wars characters.
Go Pete. It will be a sad day when he passes. But damn he still looks great. 64 and still going strong.

I can tell you this, Peter is a wonderful person that loves his fans. He loves how we spread the Star Wars joy and do what we do for the kids and charities. He was telling us stories about when he found about Chewie's death, things that happened on the movies..

Well MArk Hamil still loves it, and as far as I know Billy Dee Williams still enjoys the star wars bit. Met him at a comic con in Detroit.
