I can see your point about having attended previous cons and knowing what to expect. I certainly remember freaking in general for my first Botcon and trying to make all the right choices. True it is their job and they've had time to iron out the online registration by now. However, if that's what the holdup is, I'll wait. Faxing is stone age technology.

The online registration method had better be amazingly simple and conveient ..The suspense is killin me...I know I for 1 am freaking about my first Botcon..Is it possible to do everything the 1st trip LoL?

Also for the customizing class...I read in last years brocheure that you are given a un-assembled figure..Do we get to know what the figure is? Also is the price for the class included in the registration or is it out of pocket?

btw Thank you big time for all of the info provided by the Botcon vets..IT IS very very appreciated! :APPLAUSE:

The classes are not included in the price of Primus/Protoform Packages, you must sign up for them in addition to your Package and pay for each. I don't know how much the classes cost.

As for the figure, I'm not sure if they announce it before the con or not.

The classes will fill up FAST. As in, within the first few hours of registration coming online. If you don't register within the first 4-6 hours, your chances of getting into one of the classes is very very slim.

You know what's super-awesome about BotCon? The information and the communication with fans that we get directly. Because, you know, this is an expensive thing to attend and with the fandom being so close knit, it's good to have a company who is willing to make sure that year after year both the process and the event get better and better.

Hrm? What was the question again?

No, no sir. I do not know the definition of awesome.

I have officially decided that I am NOT going to BotCon this year. The lack of information has been downright pathetic. Te group running this event is unprofessional. I have more information already for cons I plan to go to in 2011 than I do for BotCon. And with the prices being announced I just can't reasonably part with that much cash for a weekend long convention. What it would cost me to go to BotCon would be my total for going to the 3 (if not more) conventions I plan on this year so far.

Honestly I'm going for the Jaws Ride at Universal this year. If it were anywhere else I'd be sitting this one out.
