He wouldn't get caught. They have no LP there, no one watching the cameras. Wal-Mart rather take the hit then pay for serciuty.

Um.....Well obviously he did get caught so someone was watching something. Perhaps read the article before commenting on it because with that statement it seems like you are just making a halfass knock on wal-mart.

A woman who works at a Wal-Mart here in Tampa told my boyfriend that. So don't be saying things till you get your facts.

So because someone told your mom's friend's girlfriend's brother's stepson's daughter you know all of it to be true, whereas it specifically states in the article that lp was watching him and arrested him that:

A. He did get caught.
and
B. LP was watching the cameras.

So, now where is this need for me to get my facts straight?

1) A theif is a theif, the same guy that will steal a TV from a shop is the same guy that will steal your wallet.

2) Crime like this affects you and I more than the company. Something like £6 billion per year is lost to shoplifters in the UK alone and that cost is recouped by uping prices to the customer. That means you're paying more so this guy can have a free TV.

So... Robin Hood's a bad guy? Big businesses are thieves. Exploitative thieves. Steal form a thief, you're a hero to me.
And there's a differenc between shoplifting and this. To be honest, his price was probably closer to what the thing cost to manufacture than Walmart's was.

Why are big businessmen thieves? Because Wal-Mart supposedly puts little stores out of business? Maybe if the average consumer wasn't so cheap and spent the extra dollar at their local store, we would have all this "big business" to fuss about.

Oh, and stealing is stealing, no matter how you look at it.

It only affects our economy in good way, if it was manufactured here and sold herein states. If its made in China, korea, Guandong,or where ever tha hell else, it only affect for us to pay less, and goverment gets the money for tax that we have to pay on buying cheaper made items that are imported, which cost a quarter to make over there.

Motto: "May God have mercy on my enemies, because I sure as hell won't."
We shop at Meijer's. It's as close to local as we can get, given that out of it's 180-something stores, half of them are located in Michigan.

Seriously, Michigan residents. (I hate the word Michigander) Shop at Meijer's as much as you can. Destroy Wal-mart!

I'm a Meijers man myself. I'm not fond of Michigander either so I switch between Mittenlander and Michiganian
