now i know that theres a big paramount/dreamworks deal with hd-dvd but i did find a listing at work for a blu-ray version of the new film.

ive double checked it and it definatly is for the live action, not the animated, its got its own catalogue number to, its a bit of a long shot but you never know.

maybe the deal only extends to us releases? i know mission impossible is a paramount film but thats on both formats to.

ill keep an eye on the listing should it change at all

release date of 3-12 btw

Yea it will be for Blue-Ray. I read somewhere that 7 out of 8 big film studios make Blue-Ray, so it pretty much means that Sony wins this time round.

Not only that, but the whole 'Bay is not doing tf2, Bay is doing tf2' was because he said tf1 wasn't coming out on Blu Ray, and he wanted his movies to be seen in the best possible format. It made the news. Well, Seibs news anyhoo.
