A great and entertaining review. But I have to take issue with the whether to get this upgrade kit or not. I passed on this set despite being so hyped up buying one because............?

The plastic and paint quality kind of sucked. Maybe I've been spoiled by a certain company with the initials F and P.

Concept wise it sounded good, you get his ion blaster, Matrix chamber + Matrix, 2 energon ax molded to look like the one on MP-01 and his rocket pack that serves as a carry on back pack plus IIRC some extra fists(?)

But the materials used does not justify the purchase.

The plastic didn't seem low quality to me but I too prefer F and P. Don't forget you also get the opening fists as well. My friend got this whole set for $20. My opinion is that for that price, totally worth it
