I've seen plot speculation all throughout the posts, but lets get them all together and see if we can get close to the real thing.

Things we know!

1) Sam is in college and Mikella Meets him there and from that point they get stuck back into the war of the bots

2) Sam's parents are also involved and in danger

3) Sam knows something about the decipticons that makes them come after him

4) Megs is ressurected from the dead in a new form

5) Starscream has been in charge of the cons since the last movie

6) It's one year later

7) Scorpinok isn't dead

A new character called Jetfire is a decepticon and an autobot

9) new autobots include skids, mudflap, sideswipe, three motorcycles that might combine to form arcee

10) new cons include 7 constructicons including demolisher and long haul who combine to form devestator (how they are getting around the tank named devestator in the first movie is a mystery), sideways, soundwave, and ravage

11) the fallen is a character who was one of the original 13 transformers and more than likely dug up in Egypt and he wants revenge for something

12) optimus prime fights with demolisher in japan/china

13) sideways fights with the three motorcycles in japan/china

14) optimus gets his face smashed

15) some big boats get sunk by protoforms

16) protoforms land in egypt

17) there's a stupid pretender that looks like a hot chick

... what else am i missing... and lets start putting the puzzle together

alright i'll start.

A year later we find Sam in college. For one of his projects he has to go to a museum where he discovers a secret about the transformers. This secret is some how revealed to him by a new transformer he meets called jetfire. Sam digs and finds out about the Fallen and where he might be burried on earth. Starscream finds out about this and tracks Sam down because he wants to find the Fallen for his own personal gain. Starscream digs up the Fallen and sends for more cons to meet them on earth to get ready for a full scale war. Meanwhile Sam tells the autobots what he's learned and that the cons are after him and Prime convinces Jetfire to join the autobot forces. Things dont go as Starscream had planned and the Fallen causes caos on both sides so Starscream revives megs to fix the mess. Megs and some cons, show down against the fallen and some cons, and optimus and the bots in a climatic three way battle. The End

Nobody else has plot predictions? I thought my mini plot was pretty good.

does anyone else think that the autobots and the decepticons are going to have to join forces against the fallen? i am trying to figure out the balance of this movie. maybe i can see the decepticons bringing out devastator against the autobots, the autobots defeat him, the rest of the decepticons need help after jetfire sides with the autobots so they bring out the fallen. fallen becomes too powerful so megatron is brought back to fight off the fallen and optimus and jetfire combine together to fight him off as well.

i dont know, im pretty lost on the story so far, or at least i am trying ot make sense of it all

For what it's worth (and coming from Bay, it might not be worth much, that naughty naughty sower of misinformation he is--I suspect he's part Decepticon), I read in some film mag last week that the scenes in Egypt are the climax of the film--somebody and the Fallen. Agent Simmons is also in there somewhere, in that Egypt scene. Don't know how.

Just thought I'd give y'all more to play with.

Explosions.. Lots of explosions.

I'm still not 100% convinced that devastator is a con. He may either be
a) a neutral made by the allspark, who is chaotic/stupid but not necessarily evil

or

b) a minnion of the fallen, assuming he is not a con himself.

the fallen could either be a con, or an independant with his own agenda.

The Fallen toy has the Decepticon insignia....
The Die-Cast figure of the Fallen was the only figure(not 100% sure)without any symbol,'Bot or 'Con or whatever....
Maybe the truth is behind this little detail...
Or the 'Con symbol is there just to seperate the Fallen from the good guys and means nothing more...

Personally I hope the 'cons fight the 'bots, the Fallen deceives his way into a position of power just under Starscream but manipulating him, Jetfire switches sides, the 'cons/Fallen bring out Devestator who practically destroys Prime, the Fallen reveals himself to be evil, the 'cons get pushed to the back benches as Prime(after a long rest/makeshift CR chamber) & Jetfire combine to take down Devestator, the 'bots and 'cons take down the Fallen who's bought back Megatron as a puppet, the 'bots defeat both the 'cons and the Fallen and the 'cons go into hiding while the Fallen rots. Spread throughout this paragraph are thousands and thousands of explosions, and of course some meaningless human interaction, but who cares.
