I've always been wondering something about Stormbringer...

The story is primarily about Dreadwing being brought BACK and there is tons of reminiscing about the LAST time they fought Dreadwing and basically damaged Cybertron beyond repair in the process (Correct me if I'm wrong, it's been awhile since I read it)...There are flashbacks and references to this previous event all over the book...

So my question is this: Was the story of the first battle with Dreadwing ever actually written in any of the comicbooks? Or is it just a reference to something that happened according to the story but that story was never physically made into a comic...

I just can't find any mention of that event being in printed form anywhere...As far as I know I have everything from the IDW-verse that's come out...

If it was just a story element created specifically for Stormbringer, that's too bad...Seems like it would make a cool book...

I do believe your referring to THUNDERwing, and Stormbringer is it. The only story that came out before it was Infiltration.

It was just an in story reference to give a bit of history to the then new Transformers universe.

Geez...Yeah you're absolutely right...Thunderwing is what I meant...

And thanks...I didn't think that story had ever actually been written out but Stormbringer just really makes you feel like it's a sequel to another story...
