Quick Voyager Blackout question

Postby Icetron » Sat Jul 28, 2007 4:39 am

I remember reading here somewhere that there were some panel line problems or something but I can't find it, what does that mean (sorry I don't really know the terms yet since I'm new to these :???: ) and is there a way of telling if the toy has the problem before I pick it up?

Thanks
:)

There's a few problems with Blackout, mostly to do with things not lining up properly.

In alt.mode:

- his legs don't stay fixed to the top panel / roof part and keep dropping down.
- the section that splits in half (to reveal white missiles)above the cockpit doesn't seem to line up properly.

In robot mode:

- his waist doesn't line up properly on his right side. It doesn't quite clip in like his left side.

One can't really tell from a packaged version whether the toy will have these problems or not as Hasbro put those translucent ties around every part of the toy to hold it together. It's only once one's opened the box and taken those ties off that it becomes apparent.

Okay thanks. :) I guess I'll just have to see it if I can pick one up first then.

I like him in alt mode and robot mode but I dont like how his legs dont stay in very well in alt mode. This makes it almost impossible to play or do anything with him.. He just sits here and looks cool lol.
