Wow, last week's contest is going to roll into this weekend's contest... that makes me sad.

OK, Really sorry guys, my interweb has been down due to my crappy cable comp. So without further ado I nominate my self as the new leader of....oh wait wrong line I'll step up as the third judge.

Everyone here did such an amazing job and had so much to offer that i really thought there would be no chance in heck i would make the top 3.

I already pm'd my ideas to cycrolus for the next contest.

Everyone had awesome work but you nailed the whole "feel" of animated. That's what this was all about. I mean I for one had you in my number one spot due to the use of color, which I think is vital in the animated, the character's attitude was captured, and you had a sample of his alt mode then you added sprinkles to the frosting by doing the background and logo. Yours set the level and everyone else to me seemed to be fighting for second place (which was a hard choice to make). I think that if Alitron had added some color and an alt Shinobi would have had some serious competition. Anyway enough rambling awesome job to everyone!

In my opinion, no, you were very far from the feel of the animated series. The animated tf's are cartoony, with over exagerrated features and looks. Your's although ok in it's own sense is boxy, and akward. I've watched you progress in your art and I gotta say your doing alot better in just a few months, but you need to learn how to "flow" a little better. Have you ever done pencil/ink drawing? I'm shure you'll get better as time moves on. Be shure to check out our next contest. It's not limited to just one style.

Yup, my style isn't TF: Animated. I'm more of the Classics line drawing. Thanks for the compliments! I hope I'll get better soon...

I liked it but it didn't look like the animated series. It looked more like a G1 version of Dinobot. The funny thing about the animated series is that it's so simple, good artist with an attention to detail seemed to over do their characters.

Like me. I admit it was very hard to tone down the details.

so are we doing another one or what? I'll do Cliffjumper but I'll have to do it in ink since I can't get on photoshop
