So is it safe to say that TFU.info is dead?
No update since January 2006?
Forums lead to a 404?
Did the owner like... croak?
And you know the funny thing, I still CONSTANTLY access their database, because despite a year and a half behind, it's comprehensive interface kicks that much ass.
Soooo... wha' hoppen?

Been wanting to know the same thing:-? . It's a damned cool site.

From ToplessRobot.com:• "Watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is marginally better than sh***ing your pants, but it takes a lot longer." Very well put.

I hope the creator's alright.
Should I come into good money in the future (I am), it was always my intent to hire that dude... to simply keep his site from never going away.
Wonder what the story is.
It was the best engine going online.

Well if it's a database you look for here is one:
http://unicron.com/
I think it's good!

It's a shame it hasn't been updated, it was a great database and easy to navigate. I hope someone can continue it someday if the owner doesn't come back.

The other two I use are Transformerland, which is current up to the movie toys and the aforementioned Cobra Island Toys which seems to be current up to the first half of 2006.

Cobraislandtoys seems to be dead too, and I don't know if there are any more definitive archives out there. I certainly hope there are!
We are working on expanding the VSD archives here on Seibertron so that you guys won't need to visit TFU.info or CobraIslandToys anymore. There's been a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes ... I hope to have it launched in the near future (by August).

The owner of TFU.info is in fact just fine. He just has no time to update. I met him at Botcon and asked him jokingly where the hell the updates were. He's a busy guy apparently. And no, the site isn't dead. Why do people who know absolutely nothing for certain about a given subject insist on answering questions like they know the answers?

Calm down there. We were asking if the site was dead, not asuming it was. Riotflea was asking if the owner was ok, nobody answered if he was or wasn't. Just askin' for some info, being I'm interested as well. You're coming off kinda rude there, especially when no one answered anything.

Calm down for what? I'm not ranting and raving. Look at the first response to the thread and tell me again no one answered one way or the other. I wasn't intentionally being rude but I've been around a few years and with every influx to the fandom there's always the know nothing know it alls. Guess I was venting my frustrations. Sorry for that. Besides, I gave the best on topic repsonse here. You wanted info and I provided it.

Hahaha, as with most things I do, they have dual purposes.
You just gave the second purpose to my inquiry. ; )
Good to hear both that the creator of tfu is alive and well, as well as seibertron trying a hand at filling the void.
But I'm not even going to pretend that matching their awesome interface is going to be easy.
Best o' luck!
EDIT: OOOOOoooooOOOOOOoooooooOOOOOH, DUH!
THAT'S why you wanted instruction and box scans from us!
Great idea! : D

I missed that first one. I stand corrected, and I apollogize. And yes you did, thank you.

Well done flux, and as far as new members go, i am one, and I'm not a know it all, if anything I know very little about the Transformers, except Beast Wars and now the movie, so I'm definitely into being schooled. Like for instance, what's with the whole Cybertron Armada and Energon thing? It's like hated, and loved at the same time. And why the controversy over the Galaxy Force version? Should I stick by what I've been reading on Wikipedia, or is there a cool resource here on Siebertron that can help me?
Also I want to start collecting Armada, Energon, and Cybertron toys but have no idea where to start, and I only want about 10 figures from each series, because I don't want to go broke. Whose who, whose the best character, and whose the main players?
Edit: Oops! I'm gonna move this Toy question to it's own thread.
