I just picked up a G2 Megatron, and damn this thing has got some ugly colors on it! I got it bec. it was cheap, and I want more Megatrons, but yikes- it' son my desk right now here at work and the glare is killing me! (Great head sculpt tho.)

Agreed on movie Dlx Arcee's face- eek.

These are the figs that got me out of TFs for many years.

In addition, I have a special hate for energon Slugslinger since I can never ever remember how his freakin' transform works!!!! :evil:

It's not a G1 thing, but a quality thing.

Wow, someone finally said it. Thank you Liege, for too long now it has been apparent that the dominant theory about G1 fans/appreciators/anyone who doesn't love the movie toys above all other things is that people are just 'afraid' of change. I have never been afraid of toys, and I doubt 20+ years of Transformers will ever change that.
I have a dislike for many of the movie toys. I do prefer G1s over the movie toys. But that's for reasons nostalgiac. My problems with the movie toys is because I find them inferior to just about any other TF line ever. My G1 leanings are unimportant in that opinion.
