Seriously, a few of them are pretty cool, simply as fun transforming robots. I have 1 of the Jedi starfighters, the greivous bike and the arc-170 fighter. I'm looking forward to the Turbo Tank and I already know I'm getting the DarthStar for Christmas. I agree a lot of them are lame, but I really like the ones I have.

Let us pick up arms and join the battle
Iron Prime wrote:Yeah, most suck - a but a couple are neat. I have the Death Star and Mil. Falcon, both are cool. Hopefully the AT-AT will show up soon too....
Dagon wrote:How could I have forgotten the Energon combiners? Everyone seems to have terrible QC issues with them, so I must have three of the only well made ones in the world, since mine can stand up fine and don't fall over and all the parts fit together fine. Lucky, lucky me.

On the flip side, one TF I'm not too fond of that everyone loves is '08 BB. His transformation is too flippin' hard to be much fun to play with.

No Death for Prowl wrote:I have to second cellshock's thumbs up for Classics Rodimus. I think both his modes look spot-on to the original Hot Rod and he has some great poseability. And I never really liked the Hot Rod/Rodimus character in the first place(though he's grown on me as I've gone back to some of the comics and cartoons after 20 years).
Movie Voyager Megatron: The alt mode doesn't look very good, but I think as a robot, he looks very threatening and unique.
In fact, when it comes to the movie toys, there aren't any that I would say "eh, I could do without this one". Voyager Blackout, deluxe Brawl, the aforementioned Megatron, and deluxe Barricade all have some faults, but I love them all. The complex transformations and different aesthetics from your traditional TFs have just appealed to me since I bought my first figure. Those lens heads, though......eh, just can't get suckered into buying those.
Alternators Prime: He looks very good as a Dodge Ram and I like the overal burly nature of his stature. Sure, as far as Primes go, this was just doesn't do justice to his usual semi truck, but I'm thinking if you slapped on the name Ironhide to the side of the box with the appropriate Ironhide head, people would praise this figure.

Oooooo I like him!
I've had no issues, and with a couple tweaks to his transform (adjusting the height of his legs and his top foot plates) he is super stable and you can reduce a lot of the lankyness.
He's not as perfect IMO as MP prime or the seekers, but he is freakin' sweet!

Mp Megatron is as fragile as a toothpick. Even his old toy is way more durable.
