TFs you regret NOT buying

I regret, I only started collecting again during the Animated Line, and never got any of the Classics 2.0 while they were in the stores. I bought my nephew a Sideswipe for a B-day, but didn't really think to get one for myself.

Re: TFs you regret NOT buying
Actually I do have another and that's Animated Blackout, saw it in a store and the owner even told me it was rare and told me to get it. Of course I ignored him and came to regret it now as after that I have never seen him in person ever again..

I really regret not getting the Power Master Prime reissue a couple of years ago. It was reduced at my local TRU to like £20, I passed, and instantly regretted it, then when I went back a week later and they'd all gone. Gutted ever since.

If only Hasbro would bring back her 2007 mold as a repaint of something. Unlikely, but there's always a chance, seeing Sidearms Sideways in Topspin colors and a redecoed 2007 deluxe Bumblebee.
pffft...... You can have mine. Wish I never would have gotten it after the ROFT line came out.
I held Classics Devestator in my hands at Walmart in 06-07ish. Wasn't into collecting TF's then though. After the movie came out in 2007, I wish I would have grabbed it.

Why, what's wrong with it? So far I've heard good things about the fig, especially when owners start comparing it to the ROTF unicycle bots.

Masterpiece Skywarp. I could have got him for 50$ at Walmart. But I was not into Transformers back then...
However, since that time, my Starscream collection went pretty well. I have MP screamers in G1 colors AND the Ghost version. I don't plan to have Black Starscream unless I have it for dirt cheap.
I also missed out on RtS Wreckgar. I saw him plenty of times in store. But now that I kinda want him, he's gone forever...

Nothing is wrong w/ mine. I just like the movie accuracy. So I really loved having it...then they came out with the ROTF line and completely different looking. The ROTF female bikes are not the best, but I like that they look like what was in the film. The 07 Arcee isn't terrible, I just like the one resembling the movie is all.

I'd have to say
1. 25th anniversary g1 Optimus Prime. I got an original G1 in somewhat rough condition and felt that was enough, but for $30, I should have picked up the 25th anniversary edition. Luckily I just found all the accessories at a white elephant sale for $1, so now I have two fists, a new roller complete with gas pump, and missiles and such to help round out my G1 figure.
2. Classics Devastator. At the time, I didn't like the idea of a combiner that was really only three toys with two repaints. I didn't know that was going to be our best option for years to come.
3. Movie 2007 Premium Ironhide. At the time I really didn't like the fact that the windows were painted. Again, I didn't know that would still be overall the best looking of the Voyager ironhides.
4. Wal-mart exclusive Ultra Class Hardhead. Really liked the paint job on him, what with the number of decepticons killed on his shield, but felt like paying $4 more just for a different paint job was silly, so I stuck with Onslaught.
5. Classics Jetfire. I saw him in the store once or twice but at the time felt like $20 was too much, and really I wanted a G1 Jetfire. I got a G1 Jetfire but now I really wish I had the Classics version to go with him. Never had the opportunity to get it cheaper.
6. ROTF Leader Jetfire. I HATE the kibble in jet mode, and the rubber nose and engines, but I feel like he might have been worth having to round out my leader set, especially since he can "combine" with Optimus. But I got Starscream, who doesn't have nearly as much of a kibble problem, so at least I got one of the two.
For the most part, though, I have what I want, and more--that's why I'm actually trying to sell off a lot of stuff, so I can focus on the stuff I really do want to keep forever. I'm most interested in the modern versions of G1 toys, and some of the more impressive modern toys like the Human Alliance line. But I don't care for most of the movie deluxes and would be happy with a complete line of modern renditions of G1 characters from the pre-movie seasons.

For sale: My entire Transformers and third-party collection. Includes Masterpiece, Generations, Universe, Movie, Prime, Armada/Energon/Cybertron, G1, G2, a few Japanese imports, etc. Many never opened, the rest displayed in enclosed display cases to keep the dust off. A few ads on Craigslist/OfferUp for DC/MD/VA locals, will post on boards or ebay when I have time.

Re: TFs you regret NOT buying
Stuff i wished i'd bought when i saw it or known about it...
2007 leader class Brawl - this guy just looks so badass in robot mode, and you cant find him now for love nor money
G1 dinobots (i was too young when i got mine, and bought spares to try and replace them) i have a grimlock with broken hing on his neck, sludge with broken hip, snarl with broken clips on his hind legs, and slag with no tail or horns, oh how i wish i could find these and swoop now!
Most of the classics/generations toyline, i've got a few, such as bumblebee, astrotrain, hot rod, soundwave, starscream, thunderwing, skullgrin, cliffjumper, but really really REALLY want wheeljack, wreckgar, tracks, warpath & perceptor, along with the trust/dirge mould seekers. Though i do have the hot/rod cyclonus set, and for some reason 2 lots of the magnus/skywarp set.
Ebay is horrible, it makes you think you can buy stuff, until people with more money or time come along and outbid you..... Though i did get HFTD Deepdive boxed for £8 inc postage the other day.....

In no particular order of significance:
1. Universe Blades. I love the character, but I passed on the C-Evac repaint, twice! Third time's the charm I hope.
2. HftD Sidearm Sideswipe and Elita-1. A few months ago one of the toy stores had HftD wave 2 for cheap, including those two. I'm currently holding out for the Japanese versions, keeping my fingers crossed.
3. G1 Cloudburst / C-202 Phoenix. Keep seeing him at conventions, keep passing on him. Stupid stupid STUPID! The last time he was complete, loose €15-20. Considered it, came back to get him, he was already sold! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
4. G2 Hero Optimus Prime. Saw him twice, incomplete. I'm still waiting on a complete one.
5. Cybertron Crumplezone. My Ransack is lonely, so very lonely... and will be unless i get the guts to buy him over a higher priority item!
*ahem* sorry about that, haven't had my coffee tea yet.

Botcon 98 Antagony. I had several chances to pick one up for a couple hundred bucks or so on ebay but never had enough at the time to buy her. Now there's no sign of her anywhere except one on Amazon for $850 and I am NOT paying that much for any figure.
I've acquired most of my other "regrets" now, albeit at the ever-increasing after market prices, but now that I have the money to spare I don't mind. The only one I'm really still after is a United G2 Laser Prime, but I don't expect to find one, especially now that there's a planned third party upgrade set that everyone is looking forward to.

I can understand. I also like the ROTF Arcee's [bought all three of them, in fact], but I do prefer 2007 Arcee's humanoid proportions--they're intrinsically "female" without being too obvious.
