I've been to that NYC times square TRU store & noticed they charge a bit more for TF toys compared to other TRU stores not located in manhattan.

not only TF toys but all the toys(Marvel, DCU) there are more expensive

Found 2 MP Roddy at the local TRU today but it was priced $64.99, fortunately I was able to use the 20% off coupon.

I figured the price would be higher,thru personal experience of visting that times square TRU store a dozen+times & then comparing the prices to the brooklyn TRU 2 stores.

I went to the one TRU Brooklyn store on bay parkway & they also have slighly higher prices than TRU stores in new jersey,staten island & PA.

I think the NYC times square TRU store prices are higher due to the exspensive location & property taxes.

Whew, just got back from NYC Timesquare TRU and grabbed me Rodimus, ehhehe. Didn't realize there was so many...about 20-2 dozen left.

one can always pay more at a TRU that charges more. keep the receipt. call on the phone to other TRU stores in your area. if a TRU store you find charges less. then simply return the toy at that tru,get your money back. then buy the same toy again a few seconds later at customer service where you original returned the item.

ofcause you'd need a extra 20% off coupon if you used that the first time around.

the TRU facebook page allowed a person to print out 2 coupons & no more.

I was talkin to an employee at TRU about Rodimus showing up and he said that they already got him in and the 5 they had were all bought by one guy.

Just as i suspected with this release. I'm just gonna sit back and wait till the smoke clears and see what lands in my lap on the aftermarket.

FYI,Each individual TRU store in america is getting 16 volume units of MP Rodimus prime in stock.

Since the average toy shelf space is small. TRU stores are not putting out all 16 mp rodimus at once. TRU stores are only putting out a few & leaving the rest in the back stock.

You should bring along the MP Rodimus item number & show it to customer service at your TRU store. if their is stock in the back,then ask for one to be bought up front to you.

That's not true. Some stores have gotten only ONE case, containing FOUR toys. There are no more on the truck, on the way, or in the stock room for these stores.

That doesn't mean a new truck with more won't show up to these locations, but at this point it is just too haphazard to be able to say the exact same thing is happening with all the stores.

Checked my store to see if they had anymore but didnt have any luck. I didnt even see an open spot on the shelf so maybe they are still in route. Ill give them a call later this week to see if they have come in.

Definitely glad I got my two ordered off their site.

I used the TRU.COM web site & used the store locater.

I literally called 100 TRU stores. about 50 of them that have/Had MP Rodimus in stock said they received 16 volume units.

Sadly these 50 TRU stores that had the MP Rodimus toys in stock. were literally hours upon hours away. and literally hundreds upon hundreds of miles away. none of these were within 50 miles driving distance from my house. I just didn't think it was worth it wasting all that time & $60 in gasoline to travel this far. I'd sooner cave into ebay before I spend $60+in gas fees.

Well, if anyone wanted to claim they've had bad luck with this damn figure, I got you beat.

Numerous attempts calling TRU stores: Nothing.

First attempt from eBay: Seller turned out to be a scammer and I had to file a claim and get my money back from eBay.

Second attempt from eBay: All was good until the figure's left arm broke. Since it was bought on eBay, there is no recourse and I am screwed out of $80+.

So, I am back to the original intention of this thread.

I Need a TRU MP Rodimus Prime.

Please let me know if you can help.

I just checked the TRU site before posting, so they JUST put them back in stock.

The problem is, I won't have any money now until the first week of October.

That **** figures. :BOOM:

Thanks for the link. I went to the site & they have over 99 in stock. I entered 99 in the quanity & they were ready to sell me all 99. ofcause since I already bought one from a store,I didn't need any,so left the site.

I'm just wondering why TRU.com didn't bother yet to email me & say the item I Put on my "want" list arrived in stock. my guess is TRU.com will email me 2 days from now when the item is out of stock or their like 2 left in stock.

Personally,what the sense in putting a feature on your TRU.COM site,if it doesn't work or fails to email you when a item arrives in stock. like when a item sells out & then the site adds a feauture that says if you give your email address well notify you when the item arrives back in stock.

The three figures I found are:

Bumblebee (2007 Movie Concept Camaro)
Ravage (ROTF)
Soundwave (ROTF)

All three are loose and complete. I will toss them in for anyone willing to help a guy out.

So I called the TRU near me and they finally got a few back in stock. Figures, because I have no extra money right now. What I ended up doing is returning a few figures back to Target I don't really like to get the money for Roddy. I returned Dotm voyager Starscream (who I began to really hate), Dotm voyager Shockwave, and Dotm Deluxe Jazz (a disappointment).

Roddy's feet are a bit annoying to angle to get him to stand up right without looking like he's leaning too far forward, but otherwise he is a great figure. The figure also has a few defects like small paint issues and one arm doesn't contract all the way like it should. Oh well, it adds character.

First MP figure. I'm going to try to get a Grimlock next.
BTW, if you are in TX, I found my figure at the Mesquite TRU.
