the "I've seen the movie!" thread! **SPOILERS**

Postby Gutsman Heavy » Wed Jun 27, 2007 11:53 pm

Hot damn this movie rocked hard! Everything worked so well! Frenzy was a huge crowd favourtie, so much action, likeable humans! PRIME!

Megatron is such a cruel heartless bastard, ripping Jazz in half with about as much care as one would have tearing a pack of chips open.

hell I could go on forever, so what did everyone else think?

Yeah, just saw it too. Very awesome. The transformations were amazing!
Did lack in some areas though. Not enough cons talking is my biggest one.. We didnt get to hear blackout, devastor (thats what they called brawl, i think...), frenzy or bone crusher, with only minimal barricade & star scream. Megatron talked a fair bit, and owned everyone (including poor old jazz). I was suprised at how quick they were to kill of characters...

Bonecrusher, jazz, devastor, blackout (?).

Pretty amazing movie.

As gutsman said, could go on forever! I'll let other people have input before I go on, so we can get this thread flowing!

OMG I SAW it and will be seeing it again

Postby Torensmith » Thu Jun 28, 2007 12:49 am

So me and my friends were going to see Die hard tonight. while waiting for some more people to show up we saw some old people sitting at a table collecting card from guest and turning back people with cell phones. We saw the card that said transformers and inquired. it was a spcial showing for something(still not sure what it was for). We asked if we coould go and were turned down. I was like damn and turned to my cell to find out about my other friends. so My roommate was chatting the people up. next thing I knowone of the old men hands us three tickets and says go on.

So I blew off three friends to see one of the best freaking movies of the summer. I mean Damn! it was funny and full of action. It was just great. I am not disappointed at all. Well maybe a hint that megs was still alive would be nicebut over all Great.

seems like Megatron could come back, after all he does have the allspark in him now, hell it could reformat him into Galvatron from within. it could even grant him the ability to make his own army. Megatron as the allspark, now that could be sequel worthy.

Just got home from it, I'm guessing the allspark with bring Megatron's remains to life as Galvatron and that the Decepticos will have a undersea base.

And what happened to Starscream and Barricade?

that will be for 2 the allspark will power and reformat Megatron into Galvatron. i do wish Megatron used his cannon more though and there was a bit too much humor

I saw it tonight, and it is awesome as all hell. My only real gripe is that while Bumblebee was fighting Barricade, they didn't bloody show it! It was just Frenzy attacking Sam, then when he gets decapitated, BB comes along and they drive off... and it quickly shows Barricade on the ground sparking. I felt really ripped off by that, though the other fights more than made up for it. I also didn't like how he just disappeared after the highway chase.

Loved army-guy-whose-name-I-forget taking out Blackout, that was just insane!

Just got home from seeing it and OH MY GOD I am jacked up!! I am SO going to see it again as soon as I got some spare cash. My only gripe is that the fights seemed at times hard to track what was happening, but other than that, had a ball.

I saw it and my only gripe, the camera was too shaky. Everything else was perfect but the cinematographer needs to stop taking coffee.

Loved it.

Not what I was expecting though. The plot was a bit flat, but I can forgive. However I did want to see the Megatron / Starscream thing a bit more, as it was it was only hinted at.

Off again tomorrow night and every other night till I run out of money or people to go with.

I enjoyed it. I hated some of the cornball dialogue, but the action scenes were awesome.

That wasn't Prime, that was Ironhide. You can see him become the Topkick a few seconds later.

As per a PM tip from someone that there is already a topic to discuss the movie with reviews and spoilers.

http://www.seibertron.com/forums/viewto ... =7234&sid=

I am locking this down to avoid multiple threads and to keep everything nice and tidy.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).
