It's late and I fail to create a better title. Basically, I'm waiting for Lio Convoy to arrive at BBTS and I'm currently rewatching the old Beast Wars 2 show. It occurs to me that we may possibly see a Black Convoy (black Lio Convoy) arise from the MP-48 mold but I'm wondering if Takara will also try a remold/retool to give us Lio Junior. It would be cool as I'm a sucker for cat mode Transformers.

What do you guys and gals think?!

I'm kinda hoping for a toy-based + version that doesn't turn the lion head inside out.

I don't really see them doing Lio Junior that soon, especially as a retool, he'd need an all-new mold just for the head transformation... and for Magnaboss.

I doubt they would design a Lio Junior with Magnaboss in mind. From what I know, we have yet to see any MP combiners.

They've been teasing Raiden for a while now.

This isn't the main line, MPs don't generally do repaints/retools unless it makes sense. Them both being lions isn't going to be enough any more than giving red Bumblebee a Cliffjumper head would.

One repaint we can count on is this one:

Since we're already getting this:

Toy colors are possible as we got that with Primal, but Primal really likely only got that figure because it served a dual purpose as his anime model. "Toy colors" aren't really a thing with modern MPs anymore, it's all about cartoon colors.

Then there's the Lucky Draw Galvatron colors, but I doubt we'd see that unless we actually got a Galvatron figure, then they could mirror each other in a later release just for fun.
