Picked up the Elite Tie Interceptor last night. Very satisfied. I love how it has kill markings on the cockpit. Also picked up a second McQuarrie Vader to open. Definitely my favorite vader figure of all time!

I didn't know the figure came with a sidearm! I was very pleased to find it in a holster which was hidden by his cape in the package!

Of the two I have seen, the one I own is the one that has caked mud splotches in the joints, and a white shoulder pad. The other I saw was cleaner around the edges, but looked like someone had stamped his chest and abdomen with a large splotch of dirt. That one also has an orange shoulder pad.

Hahaha... those are still kicking around in stores? But what am I saying. I've seen some Transformers: Cybertron toys coming out lately. Must have been stashed away somewhere in the top racks of the stockroom.

$50? Well, I definitely want these, so it's money well spent in my opinion. And hopefully the higher price will keep the scalpers from trying to create a demand.

Looks about the same size as the Bantha set, which was $45, so I imagine that would be about right.

I dunno, that Bantha set wasn't as big as these two. I mean it was basically three figures and a Bantha, but each of these have eight figures and an AT-ST, along with the Speeder Bikes and logs with the Endor set, and the Rebel turret with the Hoth set. The AT-STs alone are worth $20...

I went out to a Walmart this morning, and score! I got the following:

Lando - smuggler outfit
Han Solo - torture rack x2
4-LOM
General McQuarrie
Clone Commander - version 2 with Clone rifle instead of the Sandtrooper rifle
Pit Droids - tan with the hexagonal box thingy

I was pretty surprised, though there were barely more than one of each. No McQuarries, except for two of their General

I was wondering which figures we'll be getting for the VOTC set next year. It would be nice if they did more characters that originally had cloth cloaks, so we could get better SA versions of them. Like Bib Fortuna and the "real" Zuckuss. Each has at least one POTF2 vesion, Bib has a TSC version that's not bad, but each vintage version of the figure is better than the newer versions!
