Today I finally assembled together what, for now at least, I'm going to use as toys for The Thirteen. I've gone mostly with inspiration from the Aligned Continuity, but stepped outside of that box some as well. Here they are, in all their quickly-snapped cell phone camera photo glory:



From back to front, left to right we have:

• Beast Hunters "Simplified" Voyager Predaking as Onyx Prime. My Beast Hunters shelf had too many Predakings on it, and I really like the clear wings and smoky plastic on this one. Doesn't nail the whole Tryptich Mask idea very well but that's ok. Other considered options were Beast Fire Predaking and Guren Dragotron.
• TFCC Nexus Maximus as Nexus Prime.
• AoE Platinum Edition Silver Knight Optimus Prime as Prima. This was clearly a compromise. There just aren't a lot of really silver bots out there. I'm aware that the Japanese release of the first Protoform Prime from the '07 Movie line is generally the repurpose used here, but I didn't like the size of it, plus I wanted to use the Protoform Prime mold for Thirteen himself.
• Energon Alpha Quintesson as Quintus Prime.
• Galaxy Force Soundblaster as Alchemist Prime. Given the lack of really good options here, plus given this toy's heritage as Logos Prime, he goes here. Additionally, if we consider his little partner Minicon to be actually just an extension of himself, it could be his "Lens" that he uses to see vast distances away.
• Universe 2.0 Vector Prime as himself.
• Botcon 2009 Landshark as Amalgamous Prime. You'd think that the Prime that can literally be anything at all would be easy to pick, but you'd be either right or wrong about that depending on your mood, I suppose. I've always liked this mold, and I felt like there was enough Movie-verse aesthetic elsewhere, so why not? Almost went with RotF Rampage here, but really, there is absolutely no way to make a wrong choice here. At all. Whatever you want here instead is correct.
• Maketoys Paladin and Micron Legend Space Team as Megatronus with Requiem Blaster. You could also use Titanium Fallen here, but he can't hold the Requiem Blaster and doesn't have a very imposing presence compared to the others.
• Transformers United Axalon as Liege Maximo. I thought this would be an easy pick, but there just aren't any green, caped Transformers with horns, at least not that I'm aware of. There never was a Marvel Crossover toy of Loki either, which is too bad because that would have made this super easy. I went with Axalon because the toy kind of looks like a Prime, almost looks caped with the backpack, and it's just generally a fun mold. Open to suggestions on what might be better here, but I'll live with this choice for now
• MMC Salvia Prominon as Solus Prime. Because what else are you gonna use?
• Micron Legend Prime Super Mode as Micronus Prime. Because his name is Prime and he's green like Micronus is depicted in Covenant of Primus (I think). Every other version of this was considered, and could probably also work just fine.
• Botcon 2007 Alpha Trion as himself. Considering maybe swapping this out with the Artstorm Gokin figure, or the iGear (I think?) version that came out recently, just so there aren't two of the Vector Prime mold. That would, however, require a purchase so for now this stays.
• Movie Advanced Protoform Optimus Prime as Thirteen. I like using the Protoform mold here because Thirteen always seemed a bit ambiguous in appearance in my mind's eye, and this seems to fit that ambiguity well. Also, since this literally is Optimus Prime, I wanted to use these colors, rather than the gray/silver of the original '07 releases of it, but I think either of those could work just fine too. Or literally any version of Optimus Prime ever, since that's who Thirteen is.

So, who else has thought about this repurposing project? Any cool ideas that are way better than mine? That's really what I'm hunting for here, so let's talk about it, shall we?

I started putting together a Thirteen set about a year and a half ago. Three still need to be painted, and two of those need customising, but I couldn't be bothered with that atm.

Prima - BH Ultimate Optimus Prime, need to paint all the blue and red parts white at some point.

Vector Prime - Cybertron Vector Prime, nuff said.

Alpha Trion - Only hole in my set. I really want the Botcon version! Waaaay out of my price range though .

Solus Prime - R-11 Salvia Prominon, sitting in my PoL atm.

Micronus Prime - Cybertron Safeguard. Figured that I might as well use him seeing as he was there.

Alchemist Prime - HftD Payload. Need to paint him, and rip off all the vehicle mode parts, except for the blades.

Nexus Prime - Generations FoC Bruticus. Customised this set some time ago, and added the crappy black boosticus set.

Onyx Prime - BH Ultimate Predaking

Amalgamous Prime - R.I.D. Galvatron. With all the fan modes this mould has it seemed like a no-brainer to me. Besides, I needed an 'excuse' to buy him

Quintus Prime - Energon Alpha Quintesson. Nothing else even comes close to AQ for repurposing.

Liege Maximo - 2007 Movie Megatron. Don't really care abou my 2007 movie figs and found a custom someone had done, so decided to use him for that. Need to paint him green and add horns somehow

Megatronus Prime - MT MB-01-C Mobine Paladin/Chaos. Again, best repurpose possible.

Optimus (Thirteen) Prime - BH Voyager Optimus Prime. He was a spare Optimus, so I figured he'd do until I found something I liked better. Besides, I like the sword and shield and recon they'd be good for fighting Unicron and I see the shield as the inspiration (in my own fan fiction in my head) for the Autobot symbol.

I've repurposed my TFP voyager Optimus as the 13th prime
