I for one loved Barricade's new voice, it was better than I expected.

Also did anyone else notice that Barricade had "To Punish and Enslave" written on the side of his police car mode instead of "To Protect and Serve"

haha, yeah that was freaking awesome. everyone in the theater went nuts when Bumblebee scanned the new Camaro XD

You don't remember seeing him because he wasn't in it. Come on, the action wasn't that confusing.

You're right about the other disappearances though. I don't recall what happened to Barricade and Scorponok definately vanished.

Starscream was the jet that flew up into space at the very, very end.

I told myself to see the credits, but i didnt ... **** me!

My guess regarding Barricade... either his demise was cut due to time constraints, or when people started reacting well to the character, they decided to cut the scene so he could be back for the sequel.

Scorponok, I'm guessing, was reattached to Blackout.

Though I do tend to think only Brawlamolishtator is the only one who's 100% for sure dead, since he took it right in the spark. They DID set up the "regenerative" property as well.
